Position Summary: The Procurement Manager, Process & Governance helps turn Procurement operating needs into clear, repeatable processes that support consistency, compliance, and practical execution. This role owns standard operating procedures, process maps, controls documentation, shared repositories, training materials, and governance communications, while also coordinating selected recurring reporting and governance cadences. The manager partners with Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT, InfoSec, and other stakeholders to gather inputs, resolve routine gaps, publish review-ready updates, and escalate material exceptions. This role is hybrid/in-office/remote as applicable and reports to the Procurement leadership team.

About the Team: The Procurement team supports the organization by creating efficient, well-governed processes for intake, sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and procure-to-pay activities. The team works closely with cross-functional partners in Legal, Finance, Operations, IT, and InfoSec to keep work moving smoothly and in alignment with policy and controls. Team members use tools and systems such as SharePoint, Teams, Oracle/P2P, CLM, ServiceNow, and related reporting and workflow platforms to manage documentation, communication, and issue resolution. The team focuses on making procurement work easier to follow, easier to maintain, and easier to audit.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, standardize, and maintain end-to-end Procurement workflows across intake, sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and procure-to-pay.
  • Create and update SOPs, process maps, RACIs, control points, templates, job aids, and exception pathways for major Procurement workstreams.
  • Coordinate recurring Procurement governance reporting, including calendars, templates, version control, quality checks, and publication cadence.
  • Gather inputs from Procurement and cross-functional partners, follow up on missing items, and publish review-ready updates on schedule.
  • Track audit requests, remediation actions, and corrective actions, and maintain evidence that supports audit readiness.
  • Lead working sessions to gather requirements, document decisions, assign actions, and follow through to completion.
  • Maintain Procurement website and SharePoint content, including structure, permissions, approved materials, version control, and user guidance.
  • Partner with Procurement, IT, and data stakeholders to document business requirements, workflow changes, business rules, controls, and readiness gaps.
  • Apply available AI tools and AI-assisted methods to improve workflow documentation, reporting coordination, and knowledge management while reviewing outputs for accuracy and appropriateness before use.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Support change management for new or revised processes, controls, systems, and governance practices.
  • Develop and deliver Procurement 101, policy updates, onboarding materials, and stakeholder training resources.
  • Help reduce repeated process questions by improving clarity, accessibility, and organization of guidance materials.
  • Identify recurring compliance gaps and recommend practical improvements to process, controls, training, or documentation.
  • Archive outdated materials and coordinate content updates across the Procurement knowledge environment.
  • Support issue triage related to workflow usability, documentation gaps, and reporting coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen consistency, reduce rework, and improve compliance.

Expected Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in procurement operations, procurement governance, process excellence, compliance, PMO, or a related function.
  • Experience developing SOPs, process maps, controls documentation, training materials, and change management resources.
  • Experience coordinating recurring operational or governance reporting across multiple contributors and functions.
  • Working knowledge of source-to-pay and procure-to-pay processes, including intake, sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, purchasing, and vendor governance.
  • Experience working with Finance, Legal, Procurement Operations, IT, InfoSec, Compliance, and business partners.
  • Experience with Oracle/P2P, intake tools, SharePoint, Teams, CLM, ServiceNow, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to turn complex requirements into clear, usable guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail, document management, version control, and quality assurance skills.
  • Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours, resolve routine issues, and escalate material risks appropriately

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
