The Client & Product Solutions (CPS) team leads the marketing & fundraising efforts for the firm’s equity, credit and real assets offerings. Within CPS, the product management team is chiefly responsible for developing and managing investment products and other strategic projects across the firm. This includes driving fundraising strategy and strategic business initiatives, serving as a client facing asset class specialists, drafting investor communications and thought leadership, responding to and managing investor requests and launching new products/initiatives.

As a Summer Analyst in Product at Apollo Global Management, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of alternative asset management. This internship is designed for individuals eager to learn about the various areas of the alternative asset management business, develop client relationship and business strategy skills, and contribute to Apollo’s growth and success within a collaborative global team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

At Apollo, we work as one team, partnering across regions and disciplines to share the perspectives and insights that lead us to exceptional opportunities. Successful product analysts combine people skills, project management, and client-facing capabilities with strong technical knowledge of markets and investments. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with both junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects, contributing to the team by:

  • Building product and market knowledge, learning to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Drafting client facing collateral, including fund/investor presentations, white papers, quarterly reports, annual meeting decks, conference presentations, and meeting decks.
  • Partnering with senior Product Specialists to prepare custom talking points and materials for investor meetings and conferences.
  • Assisting senior executives with strategic business projects and firmwide initiatives.
  • Responding to investor inquiries and requests, such as ad-hoc client questions/analysis, DDQs, data templates, and investment updates.
  • Maintaining investment and performance data, tracking investor pipeline details, and contributing to reporting deliverables.
  • Supporting the development and distribution of marketing and investor communications with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analyzing large data sets to prepare tailored responses and compile regular reports.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing professionals to help grow Apollo’s products.
  • Conducting competitive landscape analysis to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Working closely with investment professionals, sales, finance, compliance, and legal teams to deepen understanding of alternative asset classes, fund structures, and investor objectives.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
