Career

You prefer creating momentum over maintaining the status quo.

You might currently be a Transition Manager, Integration Lead, Change Manager, Project Manager or senior operations professional, but you're looking for more influence, more visibility and a bigger seat at the table.

You love navigating change, building relationships and solving complex people and business challenges. If you're happiest managing the same process year after year, this probably isn't the role for you.

You want exposure to acquisitions, integration and business transformation. You want to work closely with senior leaders, shape decision-making and gain experience that positions you for future leadership opportunities across operations, change or business management.

You'll help Financial Planners and acquired firms transition successfully, while building a skillset that will accelerate your career beyond traditional project delivery.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of the department, you'll support the successful onboarding of Financial Planners and integration of acquired businesses into Atomos.

You'll act as a key delivery lead across multiple transition programmes, coordinating activity across Financial Planning, Operations, Hubs and wider stakeholders. Acting as deputy, you'll help ensure integrations are delivered efficiently, risks are managed effectively and Financial Planners are set up for long-term success.

As a highly collaborative role, regular travel across our network of 15 UK offices will be required to build relationships with key stakeholders and support the successful delivery of transition and integration activities.

Accountabilities

  • Support the delivery of Financial Planner onboarding and acquisition integration activity across Atomos.
  • Act as deputy (Team Leader level) to the Head of Financial Planning Transition & Onboarding, maintaining momentum across programmes and escalating strategic decisions when required.
  • Develop and manage detailed transition and onboarding plans.
  • Coordinate activity across Financial Planning, Operations, hubs and key business stakeholders.
  • Track delivery against timelines, milestones and key objectives.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate delivery risks and issues.
  • Lead communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the onboarding process.
  • Provide day-to-day support and leadership to the Transition & Onboarding team.
  • Develop scalable onboarding and learning solutions that improve adoption, knowledge and speed to competence.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback, reporting, performance metrics and lessons learned.

Skills and Experience

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning preferred (CII, CISI or LIBF).
  • Experience leading Financial Planner onboarding, transition, integration or acquisition activity.
  • Strong understanding of the financial planning or wealth management sector.
  • Experience in creating eLearning through a Learning Management System (we use Sana)
  • Proven project management and delivery experience.
  • Experience coordinating multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation and resource management capabilities.
  • Ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex delivery challenges.
  • Experience operating as a deputy or senior delivery lead.
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

Benefits

  • Competitive Pension Scheme - we contribute 6%, you 3%
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Life Assurance (4x)
  • Group Income Protection
  • Work From Anywhere policy

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
