Senior Dental Receptionist / Clinic Administrator

Attention To Dental is recruiting confidentially for an established dental healthcare business in Brisbane's south. The owners describe their team as friendly, relaxed and caring, and they're looking for someone who will enjoy becoming part of it.

You'll have a varied working week, plenty of contact with patients and colleagues, and the opportunity to take ownership of reception and clinic administration.

A working week with some appealing extras

  • Permanent full-time employment with a growing business.
  • Monday–Thursday 8.30 am–5.00 pm.
  • Finish at 3 pm on Fridays and get a head start on your weekend.
  • No scheduled evening or weekend shifts.
  • Training in the practice's systems and procedures.
  • Parking and uniforms provided.
  • Proposed commencement in November 2026.

The role is primarily based in Waterford West, with regular travel to Sunnybank Hills and Redbank Plains—giving you variety across the clinics and the chance to get to know different patients and colleagues.

What will your day look like?

You might be welcoming a patient, finding the right appointment time, helping with a payment enquiry or coordinating a case with the dental laboratory. There's a satisfying mix of people, organisation and practical problem-solving.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and helping them feel welcome.
  • Answering calls and coordinating appointments.
  • Keeping the diary organised and communicating with clinicians.
  • Processing payments, health fund claims and payment plans.
  • Helping patients with account enquiries.
  • Entering supplier bills and expenses into Xero.
  • Supporting ordering and liaising with the dental laboratory.
  • Helping keep the clinics tidy, organised and well presented, including relevant infection-control duties.

You'll receive a handover from a team member preparing for maternity leave. This is a permanent position, with an ongoing role in the business.

You'll bring strong reception, customer service or administration experience, along with:

  • A warm manner and clear communication.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using computers and learning new systems.
  • Reliability and the ability to follow tasks through.
  • A practical approach and willingness to help your colleagues.
  • Reliable transport for work across the clinic locations.

Dental, medical or allied health experience would be helpful, but you don't need a dental background to apply. Training will be provided to the right person.
