Our Team ##

Since the 2026 season, Audi has been competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

The new team has three locations. The Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Formula 1 factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Audi Motorsport Technology Center in UK is in its launch phase and growing continuously. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

What you need? The mindset of an athlete. If you are someone for whom giving up isn-t an option and limits are just something to be overcome, you can bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1 with us. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history.

Our internships last at least four months, are full-time, and we offer fair compensation.

This position is scheduled to start from April 2027. To apply, we require a current CV, relevant certificates, a certificate of enrollment, and, if applicable, your university-s examination regulations as well as an up-to-date, official transcript of records. You are also welcome to tell us more about yourself in a motivation letter.

Important information: Applicants from the EU require a valid ID card or passport; applicants from non-EU countries require a residence permit and, if applicable, a work permit.

This position is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg (Germany).

In Program Management, we serve as the central unit of Audi Formula Racing GmbH. We act as the interface between the technical departments, the supply chain, and the financial steering of the company, taking responsibility for the complex project management involved in the development and production of the Audi F1 Powertrain. Our work takes place in a highly dynamic, time-critical, and constantly evolving environment. Through close collaboration, we ensure transparency in achieving project goals and in the early identification of project risks. Alongside a strong sense of personal responsibility, communication skills, and team performance, we also value enjoyment in our work. Due to the interdependence of many different topics within our area of responsibility, close cooperation and a high degree of openness are essential for our success.

Your Mission ##

  • You support our team in ensuring the timely availability of materials for the development and production of the Audi F1 Powertrain
  • You contribute to demand planning and material scheduling of components, taking technical, logistical, and commercial requirements into account
  • You support the translation of technical requirements into purchase requisitions and work closely with specialist departments throughout the process
  • You analyse material consumption and inventory developments, helping to create transparency across material flows within our supply chain
  • You regularly review material requirements and availability and support the identification and resolution of potential supply shortages
  • You work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality Management, Logistics, and Controlling, supporting effective cross-functional collaboration
  • You assist in the prioritisation and coordination of critical material requirements within a dynamic and time-sensitive development environment
  • You contribute to the design, further development, and optimisation of processes in material planning and material control
  • In addition, you support the creation and enhancement of analyses, reports, and Excel-based tools that help improve processes and decision-making
  • You take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support our team

Your Profile ##

  • You are enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable field of study
  • You are passionate about technical concepts, innovative powertrain technologies, and the challenges of motorsport
  • Ideally, you have initial knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Material Planning, Logistics, or Production Control
  • You possess a solid technical understanding and are interested in technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly structures
  • Initial experience with ERP, PDM, or comparable systems is an advantage
  • You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; initial experience with macros or data analysis is desirable
  • You are characterized by strong analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • You work independently and reliably and maintain an overview even in a dynamic environment
  • You stand out through your strong communication skills, team spirit, and high level of initiative
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
