Galvenie darba pienākumi:

Psiholoģiskā izpēte un novērošana: Bērnu kognitīvo spēju, emocionālās attīstības un uzvedības novērošana, kā arī individuāla izpēte.

Konsultēšana: Padomu sniegšana vecākiem un pedagogiem par bērna audzināšanu, izglītošanu un uzvedības problēmu risināšanu.

Atbalsts krīzes situācijās: Psiholoģiskās palīdzības sniegšana bērniem, vecākiem un personālam krīzes brīžos.

Sadarbība un atzinumu sagatavošana: Piedalīšanās atbalsta komandas darbā, atzinumu par izpētes rezultātiem sagatavošana un rekomendāciju izstrāde.
