The posting

A leading Industrial AI company, Augury helps the world’s manufacturers leverage real-time production insights and data to drive new levels of efficiency. By combining predictive and prescriptive technology with operational data and customized AI agents, production teams can improve uptime, reduce costs, and maximize yield and capacity. Our mission is to transform how people and machines work together to push the boundaries of human productivity.

Augury combines machine and operational data with AI to help manufacturing teams improve reliability, respond faster, and keep production running. Our work brings us into industrial environments and alongside field teams and customers where safety is an essential part of successful operations.

We are looking for a part-time HSE Coordinator to help strengthen and maintain Augury’s Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) programs and serve as a trusted safety resource for internal teams and customers.

Position Overview

The HSE Coordinator will work closely with Augury’s field and operational teams to develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve safety programs and resources.

This role will serve as a go-to resource for safety-related questions, helping employees and customers understand HSE requirements and translate them into practical, field-ready processes. The position will also develop and deliver safety training and supporting materials as needs arise.

The ideal candidate is a practical, organized HSE professional who can work independently, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, and build safety programs that work in real-world industrial and field environments.

Key Responsibilities

HSE Program Development & Maintenance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE programs, policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
  • Help establish consistent safety expectations and processes for Augury field teams.
  • Review and update HSE documentation as regulations, customer requirements, or operational needs change.
  • Maintain safety resources, forms, checklists, and other program materials.
  • Help identify gaps in existing safety processes and recommend practical improvements.
  • Support the development of processes for incident reporting, hazard identification, corrective actions, and other HSE activities.

Field Team Support

  • Partner with field teams to understand their work environments, safety challenges, and operational needs.
  • Provide practical HSE guidance for field activities and customer engagements.
  • Help field personnel prepare for customer-specific safety requirements and site expectations.
  • Review safety-related questions and provide timely guidance and resources.
  • Promote a consistent safety culture across field operations.

Internal & Customer Safety Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for HSE questions from employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Support customer-facing teams with safety-related questions and documentation.
  • Assist teams in responding to customer HSE requirements, questionnaires, and requests for safety information.
  • Help communicate Augury's safety expectations and practices to customers and other external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams when customer-specific safety requirements need to be addressed.

Training & Safety Education

  • Develop and maintain HSE training materials based on business and field needs.
  • Create toolbox talks, safety briefings, presentations, job aids, and other educational materials.
  • Deliver virtual safety training as needed.
  • Identify recurring safety questions or knowledge gaps and develop training to address them.
  • Help ensure employees have access to clear, practical, and current safety resources.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor relevant OSHA and other applicable HSE requirements and identify changes that may affect Augury's operations.
  • Utilize Augury’s customer safety programs such as ISN and Avetta to improve Augury’s safety scores and allow internal teams access to customer sites.
  • Support compliance with applicable regulatory, customer, and internal HSE requirements.
  • Maintain organized HSE records and documentation.
  • Assist with incident reviews, corrective actions, and follow-up activities as needed.
  • Track HSE program activities and provide updates or recommendations to leadership.
  • Continuously look for ways to simplify, strengthen, and improve Augury's safety processes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in HSE, EHS, occupational safety, field safety, or a related discipline.
  • Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining safety programs.
  • Experience supporting field teams, industrial operations, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or similar environments.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general workplace safety practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain safety requirements in a practical and approachable way.
  • Experience developing safety training and educational materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable working with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Proficiency with common workplace productivity and collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting employees who work at customer or industrial sites.
  • Experience with contractor or customer safety requirements.
  • Experience developing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), or similar risk-assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with incident investigation and corrective-action processes.
  • Experience with safety management systems or HSE software (ISN & Avetta).
  • OSHA, ASP, CSP, or other relevant safety certification.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or field-service organizations.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means Augury's field teams have clear, practical safety resources and know where to turn when they have an HSE question. Safety programs are current and organized, customer requirements are addressed efficiently, and employees receive relevant training that helps them work safely in the field.

The HSE Coordinator will bring a practical, solutions-oriented approach to safety, helping Augury build scalable HSE processes that support both its people and its customers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
