Our client is an internationally active pharmaceutical company with a Swiss office in the greater Zurich area and a strong focus on specialized therapeutic areas. To strengthen the commercial organization across Switzerland and Austria, we are looking for an experienced leader as

Commercial Lead, Alpine Region (Ref. 2825\) Zurich

In this broad leadership role, you will take commercial ownership of the portfolio across Switzerland and Austria, combining strategic brand leadership with hands\-on execution and people management. You will lead both field\-based and brand/marketing colleagues and collaborate closely with Medical, Market Access, Finance, Supply and other local, regional and global stakeholders.

Your main tasks

  • Take overall commercial responsibility for the strategy, positioning and performance of assigned brands across Switzerland and Austria
  • Develop and implement Alpine brand and business plans, translating global and regional strategies into locally relevant activities
  • Lead, coach and develop field\-based and brand/marketing teams, creating a high\-performing and customer\-focused organization
  • Manage budgets, forecasts and resource allocation while continuously monitoring performance, market developments and commercial opportunities
  • Work closely with Medical, Market Access, Finance, Supply and other functions to ensure aligned decision\-making and effective execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, external experts and other relevant stakeholders within specialized therapeutic areas
  • Support the further development of the commercial organization and build capabilities for future highly specialized products and launches, particularly within Specialty Care and rare or neuro\-rare diseases

Your profile

  • Several years of substantial commercial experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, ideally including exposure to the Swiss and Austrian markets
  • University degree at Master's level or an equivalent qualification, such as an MSc or MBA
  • Proven strategic and hands\-on brand management experience, preferably involving Specialty Care products
  • Experience within neurology, Specialty Care, rare diseases or another comparable specialist pharmaceutical environment
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience combined with the ability to lead cross\-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, with the ability to turn market and customer insights into clear strategies and actionable plans
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, together with fluent English and a good command of German; additional Alpine\-market languages are an advantage
