Job Description:

Senior Care Assistant – Experienced Carers Only

Aurora Community Care is expanding and we’re recruiting Senior Care Assistants with proven care experience to support our growing community of clients.

This role is for experienced carers only. We are looking for applicants with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a domiciliary care or care home setting who are confident working independently and supporting more complex care needs.

The role

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ homes
  • Support clients with varying and sometimes complex needs
  • Act as a positive role model within the care team
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients and families
  • Uphold Aurora’s care standards on every visit

What we’re looking for

  • At least 6 months’ experience in home care or care home setting (essential)
  • Confidence working independently in the community
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK
  • Access to a car is required for this role

Pay

  • £14 – £42 per hour, depending on shifts and responsibilities

Contracts

  • Guaranteed hours contracts available for the right applicants
  • This role is intended for carers seeking stable, ongoing employment
  • We are unable to support visa sponsorship or additional sponsored hours

If you’re an experienced carer looking for consistency, progression, and a team that takes care seriously, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re new to care or seeking sponsored top-up hours, this role won’t be the right fit.
