Pricing Analyst

Drive Strategy Through Data
Autocar Parts is seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Pricing Analyst to support pricing strategy, improve profitability, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to influence pricing decisions that impact revenue, margin performance, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pricing, margin, and revenue leakage analyses to identify opportunities that improve sales performance and profitability.
- Support pricing initiatives including list price development, customer-specific discount structures, and product conversion opportunities.
- Partner with the Pricing Manager to develop and execute strategic pricing initiatives.
- Analyze pricing data and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve complex pricing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Utilize competitive market intelligence to develop price-to-win recommendations.
- Provide deal analysis and pricing support for Sales leadership.
- Support the execution and monitoring of pricing adjustments to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of pricing tools, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a scientific field.
- Experience working with large datasets from multiple sources.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate complex data.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively partner across departments.
