De financiële wereld verandert razendsnel. Nieuwe betaalmethoden, buy-now-pay-later, kunstmatige intelligentie, embedded finance en steeds grotere hoeveelheden data zorgen voor nieuwe kansen voor consumenten, maar ook voor nieuwe risico's. Hoe zorgen we ervoor dat consumenten beschermd blijven in een markt die continu in beweging is?

Als junior toezichthouder binnen het team Krediet, Betalen en Sparen werk je aan dit soort vraagstukken. Je volgt ontwikkelingen in de markt, analyseert risico's voor consumenten en voert samen met ervaren collega's toezichtonderzoeken uit. Zo verdiep je je bijvoorbeeld in het gebruik van nieuwe krediet- en betaalproducten, de risico's die ontstaan door digitalisering en de manieren waarop data en technologie kunnen bijdragen aan slimmer en effectiever toezicht. Daarmee lever je een directe bijdrage aan een financiële sector waarin innovatie mogelijk is en consumenten worden beschermd. In deze rol krijg je veel ruimte om jezelf te ontwikkelen.

Je werkt samen met collega's uit verschillende disciplines, leert hoe toezichtonderzoeken worden uitgevoerd en bouwt kennis op van financiële markten, consumentengedrag en technologische ontwikkelingen. Daarmee leg je een stevige basis voor een carrière in het financiële toezicht en draag je vanaf dag één bij aan maatschappelijk relevante vraagstukken.

Dit ga je doen:

  • Je onderzoekt ontwikkelingen en risico's binnen de markten voor krediet, betalen en sparen en vertaalt deze naar heldere inzichten.
  • Je ondersteunt bij het uitvoeren van toezichtonderzoeken, die erop gericht zijn dat marktpartijen het klantbelang voorop te stellen.
  • Je werkt mee aan datagedreven toezicht en leert hoe data-analyses kunnen bijdragen aan het sneller en effectiever identificeren van de belangrijkste risico's.
  • Je draagt bij aan projecten gericht op de verdere vernieuwing en digitalisering van het toezicht.

Team

Je komt terecht in het team Krediet, Betalen en Sparen binnen de afdeling Lenen, Sparen en Retailbeleggen. Dit multidisciplinaire team bestaat uit 13 professionals met uiteenlopende achtergronden, van toezicht en beleid tot juridisch en data-analyse. Samen werken jullie aan een gezonde financiële markt en de bescherming van consumenten tegen onder andere overkreditering.

Dit vragen wij:

⭐ Een afgeronde masteropleiding, bijvoorbeeld in financieel recht, economie, kunstmatige intelligentie, datawetenschappen, of een soortgelijk (technisch) vakgebied.

⭐ 0 tot 3 jaar relevante werkervaring, bijvoorbeeld binnen de financiële sector, technologie, data, overheid, consultancy of een maatschappelijke organisatie.

⭐ Nieuwsgierigheid: je verdiept je graag in complexe vraagstukken, zoekt naar de onderliggende oorzaken en staat open voor nieuwe perspectieven en inzichten.

⭐ Interesse in financiële markten, consumentengedrag en toezicht.

⭐ Affiniteit met data, digitalisering en technologische ontwikkelingen.

⭐ Analytisch sterk: je kunt informatie structureren, verbanden leggen en onderbouwde conclusies formuleren.

⭐ Resultaatgericht: je neemt verantwoordelijkheid en houdt focus op afgesproken doelen.

⭐ Communicatief vaardig: je kunt je ideeën helder verwoorden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, en bent nieuwsgierig naar verschillende perspectieven.

Please note: excellent proficiency in Dutch both verbal and written is required for this position.

💰 Een bruto jaarsalaris tussen €54.000 en €75.000 (36 uur, incl. 13e maand en vakantiegeld), afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring
