The Opportunity:

Carries out a range of complex scientific support tasks at customer facilities, requiring significant interpretation of technical/scientific protocols to support research objectives effectively. Solves intricate research support and technical challenges independently, drawing on a deep understanding of laboratory techniques, experimental design, and past experiences to inform judgments and decisions. Supports nucleic acid workflows, performs DNA/RNA extraction and preparation for sequencing, and/or maintains and expands cell and tissue cultures, supporting R&D and production workflows. Collects, documents, and organizes data and observations, ensuring clarity and accessibility for review and analysis by research teams. Collaborates extensively with internal scientific support teams and customer contacts, facilitating communication and understanding across disciplines to meet customer's needs.

Resumen del Puesto

El/La Especialista II de Soporte Científico en Cliente apoyará la función de Purificación de Alto Rendimiento (HTP) dentro de la plataforma de Química Analítica y Purificación de Alto Rendimiento (AC&HTP), contribuyendo a la prestación eficiente de servicios de purificación que respaldan programas de descubrimiento de fármacos.

La persona seleccionada será responsable de ejecutar procesos de purificación de compuestos, actividades posteriores a la purificación, gestión de muestras y la documentación asociada, garantizando al mismo tiempo el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad, seguridad e integridad de los datos.

Trabajando en estrecha colaboración con equipos científicos multidisciplinares, este puesto contribuirá a la entrega oportuna de compuestos purificados de alta calidad, permitiendo el avance eficiente de proyectos de química medicinal y apoyando el logro de objetivos clave de investigación. Mediante una ejecución eficaz y fiable de las actividades de purificación, la posición ayudará a eliminar cuellos de botella operativos y a impulsar el progreso de los programas de química medicinal y descubrimiento de fármacos.

Responsabilidades Principales

  • Realizar purificaciones rutinarias y complejas de compuestos utilizando tecnologías de HPLC en fase reversa y SFC, de acuerdo con los procedimientos y directrices establecidos.
  • Llevar a cabo actividades posteriores a la purificación y garantizar que los compuestos estén preparados para su entrega a los equipos de proyecto.
  • Asegurar la correcta manipulación, trazabilidad, etiquetado y documentación de las muestras durante todo el flujo de trabajo de purificación.
  • Mantener altos niveles de productividad cumpliendo con los requisitos de calidad, seguridad, cumplimiento normativo e integridad de los datos.
  • Entregar compuestos purificados dentro de los plazos acordados para apoyar proyectos de química medicinal y descubrimiento de fármacos.
  • Utilizar sistemas de gestión de datos de laboratorio y software relacionado para registrar, revisar y gestionar información experimental.
  • Resolver problemas técnicos rutinarios y escalar adecuadamente los problemas más complejos.
  • Colaborar eficazmente dentro de un entorno multidisciplinar de AC&HTP.
  • Contribuir a la mejora continua de los procesos de laboratorio y de la eficiencia operativa.

Requisitos

Formación Académica

  • Titulación universitaria (Grado o Máster) en Química, Química Analítica, Ciencias Farmacéuticas o una disciplina científica relacionada, deseable Máster universitario en los campos mencionados anteriormente.

Experiencia y Competencias Técnicas

  • Se valorará experiencia en técnicas cromatográficas, especialmente HPLC en fase reversa y/o SFC.
  • Se valorará experiencia previa en un laboratorio analítico, I+D farmacéutica o un entorno científico similar.
  • Conocimiento de sistemas de gestión de datos de laboratorio, documentación científica y buenas prácticas de laboratorio.
  • Capacidad para aprender rápidamente nuevas tecnologías, procedimientos y habilidades técnicas.
  • Gran atención al detalle y compromiso con la calidad y la precisión del trabajo realizado.

  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y trabajo en equipo.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera eficaz en un entorno multidisciplinar y dinámico.
