ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams. Advanced proficiency in Custom Application Development is required. Advanced proficiency in Software Design & Solutions and Software Engineering is suggested.

  • Apply deep technical knowledge to improve software architecture and ensure robust, maintainable solutions.
  • Support and guide colleagues by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Analyze complex challenges and propose innovative approaches to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and quality standards.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

Top 3 skills must have:

  1. Java Back End
  2. React/Front End
  3. Techno-Functional, designing and solutioning

Top 3 skills good to have:

  1. Weblogic experience
  2. SG Public sector experience
