This role is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s product portfolio within Germany, Austria and Switzerland, in accordance with the commercial strategy, objectives and priorities defined by the Commercial Manager. The focus is on generating new business, developing existing customer accounts, identifying sales opportunities across relevant medical specialties and applications, and contributing to sustainable sales growth within the assigned territory.

Responsabilites

1. Sales & Customer Acquisition

  • Actively promote and sell the company’s product portfolio within the assigned DACH territory.
  • Identify, prospect and acquire new customers, distributors and commercial partners.
  • Generate and qualify sales leads and convert identified opportunities into business.
  • Develop sales opportunities across different medical specialties and applications according to market potential and company priorities.
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations and commercial follow-up.
  • Prepare quotations and commercial proposals within established company guidelines.
  • Follow up quotations, samples, evaluations and ongoing sales opportunities until commercial conclusion.
  • Achieve the sales objectives and targets established by the Commercial Manager.

2. Development of Existing Customers

  • Maintain regular contact with assigned existing customers and distribution partners.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
  • Promote additional products, product lines and applications according to customer needs and market potential.
  • Work toward the annual growth targets established.
  • Develop customer-specific sales activities and follow-up actions in coordination with the Commercial Manager.
  • Monitor customer purchasing patterns and identify changes, risks and growth opportunities.
  • Support customer retention and the development of long-term commercial relationships.

3. Product Promotion

  • Develop a thorough working knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and its applications.
  • Professionally present the features, benefits and applications of the company’s products to customers and commercial partners.
  • Conduct or coordinate product presentations and demonstrations as required.
  • Support product evaluations, samples and product introductions with potential and existing customers.
  • Participate in product launches and commercial campaigns according to the priorities established by Commercial Management.
  • Use only approved product information and promotional materials.

4. Distributor & Partner Support

  • Maintain regular commercial contact with assigned distributors and commercial partners.
  • Support distributors in identifying potential customers and developing sales opportunities within their territories.
  • Follow up distributor activities, opportunities and sales development.
  • Provide commercial and product-related support within the scope of the position.
  • Communicate relevant distributor needs, opportunities and concerns to the Commercial Manager.Support the identification and initial evaluation of potential new distribution partners.

5. Sales Planning & Reporting

  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline covering prospects, opportunities and ongoing projects.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and activity reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, prospect and opportunity information (developments, opportiunities and risks) and report to the Commercial Manager.
  • Monitor sales performance against assigned targets.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings and commercial reviews.
  • Contribute information required for annual sales planning and forecasting for the assigned territory.

6. Customer Visits, Congresses & Market Activities

  • Plan and conduct regular customer and distributor visits throughout the DACH territory.
  • Represent the company professionally at relevant trade fairs, congresses, workshops and commercial events.
  • Follow up leads and opportunities generated through exhibitions, congresses and other commercial activities.

7. Internal Coordination & Compliance

  • Coordinate commercial activities with the Commercial Manager and Customer Service.
  • Ensure that customer requests requiring internal support are communicated and followed up appropriately.
  • Immediately forward product complaints and quality-related customer communications through the company’s established Quality Complaint process.
  • Conduct all commercial activities in accordance with company policies, applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of company, customer, pricing and commercial information.

Languages

  • German: fluent/native-level business communication.
  • English: professional working proficiency.

IT Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
