Job Description

SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the outbound department and monitoring the workflow.

  • Assist the outbound department by performing clerical duties. Assist Order Selectors.
  • Assign new hires work orders using WMS (Warehouse Management System)
  • Monitor meat weights and make adjustments.
  • Assign trailers to routes using the YMS (Yard Management System)
  • Keep your work area clean.

SCHEDULE:

Tuesday through Saturday 10:30 am until finish

Days off will be Sunday and Monday

PAY:

Starting pay $20 per hour

BENEFITS:

Medical, Dental, Vision packages available the first of the month following 30 days of employment. 401k starts after 90 days.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have basic knowledge of computer skills and warehouse management systems. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Degree or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
