Looking for a flexible part-time opportunity to earn extra income?

We are seeking dependable Traffic Safety Technicians to support traffic control operations on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who have flexibility in their schedule and are interested in picking up available work opportunities as they arise. Many assignments become available with limited advance notice, making this a great fit for those who can respond quickly and take advantage of additional earning opportunities.

Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Set up and remove traffic control devices, signs, and cones.
  • Help create safe work zones for construction and utility crews.
  • Follow traffic control plans and safety procedures.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to accept work assignments with limited advance notice.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various job sites.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Prior traffic control or construction experience is a plus, but not required. We provide training.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position with hours that vary based on customer demand and project schedules. Work opportunities may be offered with short notice, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Individuals with greater flexibility and availability to accept assignments when they become available will have the greatest opportunity for consistent work.
