Network Engineer (IP MPLS)

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional responsible for supporting and executing Cisco router migration activities within an IP/MPLS network environment, ensuring a seamless transition, network stability, and service continuity.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

  • Execute network configuration and migration activities.
  • Support and maintain IP/MPLS network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure service availability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver network projects.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and best practices.

Your Key Skills

  • Strong expertise in IP/MPLS technologies and carrier-grade network environments;
  • Solid knowledge of Cisco ASR 9000 Series, CRS, and ASR 1000 routers;
  • Experience with LDP, MP-BGP, and ISIS (IPv4 and IPv6);
  • Knowledge of multicast services and MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 services;
  • Experience with Internet peering and full routing scenarios;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • High level of resilience and adaptability.

Your Main Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field;
  • More than 5 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry;
  • Proven experience in Cisco router migration projects;
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software architecture, including chassis, processors, line cards, and transceivers;
  • Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are a plus;
  • Good level of English (mandatory).
