The posting

Join Axon and be a Force for Good.

At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

Axon Air is redefining how organizations see and respond to the world through next-generation drone solutions — spanning Public Safety, Enterprise, and Federal customers. As our Product Operations Manage I, Customer Operations, you’ll be the internal engine behind every deal, from quote to purchase order to delivery, and the go-to contact between Axon Air and our external Revenue Operations partners. You’ll get a front-row seat to how a complex product becomes a simple, scalable sales motion — and as a self-starter who loves solving operational puzzles, you’ll find and build the automations that make it even simpler.

What You’ll Do

Location: Onsite at our office in Sterling, Virginia.

Reports to: Head of Product Operations, Axon Air & Dedrone

Direct Reports: None

  • Release purchase orders and manage order administration end-to-end, from quote to fulfillment
  • Become Axon Air’s deal-processing product expert, helping Quoting and Commercial Operations teams understand our products so deals get structured right the first time
  • Shape process improvements to quoting, ordering, and booking workflows alongside external Revenue Operations teams
  • Participate in sales strategy formulation to refine the go-to-market motion for each market segment and region
  • Catch issues before they become delays by reviewing quotes and purchase orders for accuracy
  • Build automations and tools that simplify sales operations — leave it better than you found it
  • Keep sales enablement materials sharp and useful for navigating deal complexity
  • Learn each sales team’s workflow before proposing solutions — relationships first, fixes second
  • Flag process gaps to Product Operations leadership and external partners, and help design the fix

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years in sales operations, order administration, product operations, or similar
  • Sharp attention to detail — you catch the error before it becomes a problem
  • A builder’s curiosity: you see a manual process and want to automate it
  • Comfort with ambiguity and complex deal structures
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/CPQ tools
  • A ground-up mindset — you learn the workflow before you redesign it
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence both external partners and internal teams

Work Location

This role is based out of our Sterling Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
