Your Impact
As an Account Executive for Axon Air (drones & counter-drone solutions), you will spearhead 0-to-1 statewide safety initiatives alongside senior public safety leaders and law enforcement executives. Partnering closely with Key Account Leaders and key strategic partners—including Skydio—you will own complex, high-impact engagements to build and scale Drone as a First Responder (DFR) and low-altitude public safety programs across major state agencies. We are looking for a strategic, autonomous builder driven to redefine public safety operations across entire states.
Location: Remote (Centrally located preferred)
Territory: National
Travel: 60%+
What You’ll Do
- Statewide Strategy: Build, own, and scale multi-state territories, driving adoption of DFR and low-altitude public safety solutions across state police and highway patrol agencies.
- Strategic Advisory & Alliances: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders while maximizing strategic partner ecosystems (e.g., Skydio) to deliver integrated, real-time operational outcomes.
- Domain Expertise: Develop deep technical proficiency in Axon Air solutions, serving as the core subject matter expert across internal sales teams and executive customer stakeholders.
- Pipeline Creation: Proactively identify, qualify, and close high-value opportunities leveraging RFPs, Google Alerts, market intelligence, and executive networking.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Orchestrate account strategies alongside internal cross-functional partners and maintain rigorous CRM discipline in Salesforce for forecasting and pipeline management.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience
- 7+ years of SaaS Account Executive experience driving complex, consultative solution sales.
- Proven full-lifecycle sales expertise: prospecting, discovery, technical demos, objection handling, and closing major accounts.
- Solid technical aptitude in drone technologies, cloud software, and virtualization solutions.
- Demonstrated success navigating 0-to-1 entrepreneurial builds or new vertical expansion initiatives.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent enterprise CRMs, as well as standard productivity tools (MS Office / G-Suite).
- Willingness to travel 60%+ within territory (3-4 days per week, including overnights).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
