About This Job

Axos is seeking a Sales Administrator who will play a critical role in supporting both the Small Business Banking and Premier Banking teams, ensuring seamless operational execution, exceptional client experience, and effective sales execution. This role bridges front-line sales with back-office operations by assisting and coordinating client onboarding and servicing, tracking pipeline activity, preparing documentation, and facilitating communication between internal departments and clients. The Sales Administrator will also support sales enablement and training initiatives, including new-hire onboarding, ongoing sales development, product knowledge, sales processes, tools, and best-practice reinforcement. Working closely with Business Unit Leaders, Relationship Managers, Internal and External Partners, and Product Teams, this role will help identify training and performance opportunities and support broader business training and development needs as the organization evolves.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze team performance, pipeline activity, conversion trends, lost opportunities, and abandoned applications to identify actionable insights, process improvements, and sales training opportunities.
  • Own and maintain sales reporting and dashboards for Small Business Banking and Premier Banking, including pipeline activity, account openings, conversion rates, product penetration, sales goals, and other key business unit KPIs.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and service activity summaries and provide leadership with visibility into trends, opportunities, and areas requiring additional reinforcement.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing sales training and development for Small Business Banking and Premier Banking teams, with the ability to support broader business training needs as priorities evolve.
  • Develop and maintain a structured sales training curriculum covering sales processes, product knowledge, lead and pipeline management, customer engagement, needs-based selling, referrals, relationship management, and sales best practices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new-hire sales training, ongoing skill development, refresher training, and coaching reinforcement to drive consistency and sales effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, talking points, job aids, process guides, and other resources that support effective customer conversations and consistent execution.
  • Partner with Sales Management and Business Unit Leaders to identify performance and knowledge gaps and develop targeted training based on sales results, pipeline activity, conversion trends, and other available data.
  • Support training and adoption of Salesforce, Prelim, and other sales-enablement tools, including training related to new products, initiatives, campaigns, process changes, and technology implementations.
  • Maintain training schedules, materials, and completion records and provide leadership with visibility into participation, adoption, and areas requiring additional reinforcement.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other subject matter experts to coordinate product, operational, servicing, systems, and other business training as needed.
  • Support Premier and Retention teams with customer sales, service, referrals, pipeline closure, and customer communication.
  • Assist with Salesforce, Prelim, and other case queues, including case assignment and monitoring cases through established service-level expectations.
  • Actively engage with inbound customer servicing requests through telephone and online channels as needed.
  • Partner with Sales Management on day-to-day process execution, adherence to policies, sales methodologies, KPIs, productivity metrics, lead management, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Account Management, Lending, Banking, Product, Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Provide departmental coordination and support for team inquiries, ad hoc requests, and special projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of banking products, preferably Business and Premier/Personal wealth banking
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects, managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications to deliver strategic outcomes in the Small Business and Premier Business units

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
