Werkplek

De hospitalisatieafdeling Oncologie-Hematologie (OHO) bevindt zich op campus Sint-Elisabeth en telt 22 bedden. De dienst spitst zich toe op de behandeling en verzorging van patiënten met oncologische en hematologische aandoeningen.

Als verpleegkundige kom je terecht in een omgeving waar zowel technisch handelen als sociaal ondersteunen belangrijk zijn. Samen met de patiënt en zijn / haar omgeving maak je ook ruimte voor gedachten en emoties. Je maakt deel uit van een team van ongeveer 21 medewerkers.

Door onze grootte kunnen we inzetten op verschillende specialisaties en voortdurend investeren in nieuwe technologieën en innovaties. Zo bieden we onze medewerkers talloze leerkansen en doorgroeimogelijkheden. Maar wat ons echt onderscheidt is onze warme, gemoedelijke sfeer. We vinden het belangrijk dat niet enkel patiënten maar ook medewerkers zich Gast voelen in ons Huis.

De komende jaren bouwen we aan ons ‘Gasthuis in het groen’: een gloednieuw ziekenhuis op campus Sint-Jozef waar we alle diensten van de huidige twee campussen samenbrengen.

Functie

  • Je staat in voor de totale verpleegkundige zorg en de administratieve opvolging hiervan.
  • Je neemt initiatief ter verbetering van het verpleegkundige proces.
  • Je werkt 75%, 80%, 90% of voltijds (bespreekbaar).
  • Je werkt in shiften (vroege, late, dag- en nachtdiensten).
  • Je werkt één op twee weekends.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een HBO5- of bachelorsdiploma in de verpleegkunde of vroedkunde (bachelor vroedkunde indien behaald voor 01/10/2018).
  • Ervaring binnen de oncologie, het bezit van een postgraduaat Oncologie en/of een bijzondere beroepstitel Oncologie zijn een meerwaarde.
  • Ook de bereidheid om het postgraduaat Oncologie te volgen en/of de bijzondere beroepstitel Oncologie te behalen, wordt gewaardeerd.
  • Je bent patiëntgericht, discreet, vriendelijk en empathisch.
  • Je bent stressbestendig, flexibel en kan acute situaties ondervangen.
  • Je hebt een betrokken, positieve en initiatiefnemende werkhouding.
  • Je streeft naar voortdurende verbetering en staat open voor verandering.
  • Je kan goed overweg met recente informatica-technische toepassingen.
  • Je kan je helemaal vinden in onze BIOS-waarden, die je kan terugvinden op onze website.
