Als hoofdverpleegkundige ben jij de drijvende kracht achter de dagelijkse werking én de verdere ontwikkeling van onze geriatrische afdeling. Je combineert een zichtbare aanwezigheid op de werkvloer met coachend leiderschap en een sterke focus op kwalitatieve, veilige en patiëntgerichte zorg. Samen met artsen, medewerkers en andere disciplines zorg je voor een optimale organisatie van de afdeling en draag je actief bij aan de toekomst van de geriatrische zorg.

  • Je geeft leiding aan een multidisciplinair team van verpleegkundigen, zorgkundigen, logistieke medewerkers en paramedici en ondersteunt hen in hun professionele ontwikkeling.
  • Je creëert een omgeving waarin medewerkers optimaal kunnen functioneren.
  • Je staat in voor de personeelsplanning, uurroosters en een efficiënte organisatie van de afdeling.
  • Je organiseert en leidt multidisciplinaire overlegmomenten en onderhoudt een nauwe samenwerking met artsen en andere zorgprofessionals.
  • Je neemt het wekelijkse multidisciplinair overleg (MDO) op en houdt mee toezicht op het geriatrisch assessment van de patiënt.
  • Je bewaakt de kwaliteit en continuïteit van de zorgverlening en zorgt ervoor dat protocollen, zorgprocessen en verpleegkundige standaarden correct worden toegepast.
  • Je volgt kwaliteitsindicatoren, patiëntentevredenheid en verbeteracties op en zet actief in op patiëntveiligheid.
  • Je volgt nieuwe ontwikkelingen binnen de geriatrische zorg op en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeterinitiatieven op de afdeling.
  • Je bouwt mee aan de visie en verdere uitbouw van de geriatrische zorg binnen AZORG.
  • Je stimuleert samenwerking en kennisdeling met de andere geriatrische afdelingen binnen AZORG en neemt indien nodig een waarnemende rol op.
  • Je vertegenwoordigt de afdeling in interne en externe overlegorganen en onderhoudt contacten met opleidingsinstellingen en beroepsverenigingen zoals de BVVG

Je bent een coachende leider die mensen weet te verbinden en energie krijgt van verandering en verbetering.

Daarnaast beschik je over:

  • een diploma Bachelor Verpleegkunde;
  • een kaderopleiding, BaNaBa Zorgmanagement of masteropleiding
  • een geldig visum als verpleegkundige
  • minstens 5 jaar ervaring als verpleegkundige in een ziekenhuisomgeving;
  • bij voorkeur ervaring binnen geriatrie;
  • ervaring als adjunct-hoofdverpleegkundige of leidinggevende functie is een sterke troef;
  • bij voorkeur een Beroepstitel Geriatrie of voldoe je aan de voorwaarden van het zorgprogramma voor geriatrische patiënten
