Asia Operations supports Azqores’ client banks with operational capabilities, enabling them to focus on their strategies while managing costs and operational risks. Quality and continuous improvement are central to the team’s work.

We are currently looking for an Asia Cash Operations Associate (FXMM Reconciliation) to join our team.

🤓 The team

Within Asia Operations, the Cash Operations Team manages 5 core components:

  • Cash remittances
  • Management of secondary cash accounts
  • Processing foreign exchange / money market (FX/MM) transactions – vanilla and structured derivatives
  • Confirmation matching both electronically or via long form confirmations
  • Cash Investigation

👨‍🔧 Your responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Confirmation matching and cash investigation
  • Delivering services efficiently and productively to Azqores’ clients.
  • Working with colleagues both locally and internationally to provide clients with accurate, timely and comprehensive technical support and solutions.

Daily BAU :

  • Responsible for reconciliation of trade confirmations for FX/MM and its derivative products
  • Work closely with client’s FX trading and Treasury desks to ensure trade accuracy and therefore timely matching
  • Follow up on settlement failures, in order to mitigate any further operational risk arising from these fails
  • Over time, to demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) handled
  • Proactively engage internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues

🧙‍♂️ Your core competencies

  • Bachelor degree, and / or professional qualification in Banking / Finance
  • Client & Stakeholder Focus: Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Risk Awareness & Attention to Detail: Ability to work accurately, follow procedures and controls, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Technical & Product Knowledge: Interest in developing knowledge of FXMM, reconciliation processes and our internal tools.
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement: Proactive mindset, willingness to learn and contribute to improving processes and ways of working.
  • Team Player: Positive, reliable and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
