B&A Consulting è una Software House e Digital Company che offre soluzioni personalizzate e innovative attraverso competenze tecnologiche specialistiche e servizi di consulenza IT.

Per un progetto di reengineering applicativo e data migration siamo alla ricerca di un/una SAS/Python Developer con esperienza nella conversione di procedure SAS in Python e nella gestione di processi dati complessi. La persona selezionata lavorerà a stretto contatto con il team funzionale per comprendere le logiche esistenti, proporre miglioramenti architetturali e garantire la coerenza dei risultati durante la migrazione da SAS a Python.

Attività

Le principali attività riguarderanno:

  • analisi di procedure esistenti sviluppate in SAS Enterprise Guide;
  • comprensione della logica funzionale delle procedure;
  • traduzione e reengineering del codice SAS in Python;
  • individuazione di possibili miglioramenti architetturali e prestazionali;
  • trasformazione, dove applicabile, di procedure manuali in processi serverless su AWS;
  • attività di test e confronto dei risultati SAS/Python;
  • supporto alle fasi di collaudo e rilascio;
  • produzione di evidenze e documentazione dei test;
  • trasferimento di competenze al team interno;
  • definizione di best practice per la manutenzione futura delle procedure convertite.

Competenze tecniche

Il/la candidato/a ideale possiede:

  • ottima conoscenza di Python;
  • buona conoscenza di SAS Enterprise Guide;
  • esperienza con: Base SAS; SAS Macro Language; PROC SQL;
  • buona conoscenza di SQL;
  • esperienza preferenziale con Microsoft SQL Server e PostgreSQL;
  • familiarità con strumenti di versionamento, preferibilmente Git;
  • capacità di analizzare e reingegnerizzare codice esistente;
  • esperienza in attività di testing e validazione comparativa dei risultati.

Nice to have

Costituiscono titolo preferenziale:

  • esperienza in ambito Energy, Utility o Portfolio Management;
  • esperienza con servizi AWS, come Lambda, Glue e S3;
  • conoscenza di ambienti DevOps e CI/CD;
  • esperienza in attività di data migration.

  • capacità di analisi e problem solving;
  • precisione;
  • capacità di comprendere logiche funzionali complesse;
  • buone capacità comunicative;
