The posting

Voor een dynamisch transportbedrijf gespecialiseerd in transport van en naar het Verenigd Koninkrijk zijn wij op zoek naar een Junior Planner. Het bedrijf werd opgericht in 2004 en groeide van een start met enkele opleggers uit tot een sterke speler met een moderne vloot van meer dan 600 trailers. Dankzij de inzet van goed opgeleide medewerkers blijft het bedrijf inzetten op kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en verdere groei. Respect, collegialiteit en teamgeest staan centraal binnen de organisatie.

Als Junior Planner maak je deel uit van het planningsteam dat instaat voor het vlotte verloop van de dagelijkse transporten. Je ondersteunt de planners bij het organiseren en opvolgen van de transportplanning en zorgt ervoor dat alle zendingen volgens schema verlopen.

Jouw taken:

  • Je ondersteunt het team bij de dagelijkse organisatie van transporten.
  • Je volgt de planning nauwgezet op en controleert of alle ladingen volgens plan verlopen.
  • Indien nodig stuur je de planning bij in overleg met je collega’s.
  • Je onderhoudt contact met onderaannemers.
  • Je geeft feedback aan de planners en de customer service afdeling.
  • Je zal de UK planning aangeleerd worden.
  • Je helpt prioriteiten bepalen in samenspraak met je collega’s en de teamleader.

  • Je hebt een flexibele werkhouding en kan goed omgaan met wisselende prioriteiten
  • Je functioneert goed onder gezonde werkdruk en beschikt over sterk organisatorisch inzicht
  • Je houdt rekening met klantenwensen en wettelijke voorschriften
  • Je communiceert vlot met collega’s en onderaannemers
  • Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit en pakt zaken graag aan
  • Je bent stressbestendig en voelt je thuis in de snelle transportwereld
  • Talenkennis: zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands en je kan je vlot uitdrukken in het Engels (Frans is geen vereiste)
  • Je kan vlot overweg met de computer en courante PC-toepassingen
