Resumen del Puesto: Las funciones y responsabilidades de un Trabajador de Construcción Calificado están enfocadas en mantener un sitio de construcción limpio, seguro y eficiente, al mismo tiempo que apoyan el progreso general del proyecto.

Responsabilidades:

  • Limpiar y preparar las áreas de trabajo en el sitio de construcción.
  • Montar y desmontar andamios y estructuras temporales.
  • Cargar, mover y distribuir materiales en las áreas de construcción, incluyendo asfalto, concreto y tierra.
  • Seguir todos los procedimientos de seguridad del proyecto y reportar inmediatamente cualquier incumplimiento a la gerencia.
  • Cargar y descargar materiales y suministros de construcción de los camiones, tanto manualmente como utilizando equipo cuando sea necesario.
  • Mantener el ritmo de trabajo en un entorno dinámico y seguir las instrucciones de los supervisores.
  • Trabajar de manera independiente, en equipo y bajo diversas condiciones climáticas.
  • Ser puntual, confiable y demostrar una sólida ética de trabajo.
  • Dirigir a los conductores de camiones al área correcta para descargar materiales, registrar boletos de entrega y llevar el control de horas y cantidades descargadas.
  • Verificar que los camiones bajen la caja de descarga antes de salir del proyecto y que los conductores utilicen el equipo de protección personal (EPP) requerido.

Requisitos:

  • 1 a 2 años de experiencia en construcción.
  • Diploma de escuela secundaria (High School) o GED, o experiencia laboral equivalente.
  • Estudios en una escuela técnica u oficio especializado son una ventaja.
  • Tener al menos 18 años de edad.
  • Capacidad para levantar y transportar materiales o equipos pesados de más de 50 libras.
