They work as a team with a Project Manager on multiple site development projects. Project Engineers are expected to have regular interactions with the field personnel and visit the project sites to gauge progress, manage material deliveries, and generally support the successful completion of the project. • Maintain and monitor project budgets, track cost exposures, and proactively adjust forecasts as conditions change in the field.
  • Track project performance, including schedule milestones, production rates, and quality metrics, and analyze progress against key goals.
  • Document and report project progress through daily logs, weekly updates, and formal reporting to stakeholders, clients, and senior leadership.
  • Coordinate closely with field personnel, including Superintendents and Foremen, to ensure alignment between project plans and field execution.
  • Manage material procurement and delivery schedules, ensuring materials arrive on time and meet project specifications.
  • Assist with project scheduling, including updating timelines, identifying critical path activities, and adjusting plans based on field conditions.
  • Support quality control efforts, ensuring work meets engineering standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications, and communicate changes or clarifications to field teams.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, including conflicts, delays, or design discrepancies, by coordinating with the Project Manager and field leadership.
  • Prepare and process project documentation, such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and as‑built records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, participate in site safety meetings, and support the enforcement of company safety policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to support smooth project execution.
  • Visit project sites regularly to assess progress, verify work in place, and ensure alignment with project plans and schedules.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
