Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated business units. This position serves as a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, organizational development, and HR compliance. The HRBP collaborates across all areas of Human Resources to deliver value-added services that support organizational goals and foster a positive employee experience. The HRBP maintains a strong understanding of the business unit's operations, financial position, strategic plans, culture, and competitive environment to effectively support management and employees. Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Serves as a coach, mentor, and advisor to managers and team members as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct regular meetings with assigned business units to assess and support organizational needs. Partner with management to provide HR guidance and recommendations. Analyze trends, metrics, and workforce data to develop HR solutions, programs, and policies. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough, objective investigations. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize organizational risk. Partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders on employment-related matters as needed. Provide day-to-day performance management support, including coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions. Work closely with employees and management to enhance employee engagement, productivity, retention, and workplace morale. Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Support hiring activities, promotions, transfers, and employee transitions. Provide guidance regarding organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives. Identify training and development opportunities for employees and leaders. Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure effectiveness and achievement of learning objectives. Maintain and update HR tracking tools and documentation, including discipline records, performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and workforce transition records. Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and support informed business decisions. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience working with HRIS systems and generating workforce reports and analytics. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing complex employee relations matters. Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including:
Employee and labor relations Performance management Compensation practices Organizational development Diversity and inclusion initiatives Federal, state, and local employment laws
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Ability to travel occasionally to branch locations, training sessions, meetings, or company events as business needs require.
Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment and may require occasional travel to support business operations across multiple locations. The HRBP must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
