Je komt te werken binnen de Public Advisory praktijk van Baker Tilly. Als Manager vervul je een sleutelrol binnen een startend team van adviseurs dat publieke organisaties ondersteunt bij uiteenlopende vraagstukken op het gebied van governance, interne beheersing, rechtmatigheid, risicomanagement en organisatieontwikkeling. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het aansturen van meerdere opdrachten en fungeert als verbindende schakel tussen klanten en accountants.

Je richt je primair op advies- en implementatieopdrachten binnen gemeenten, GR-en, waterschappen, provincies en andere publieke organisaties. Daarbij ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit, voortgang en inhoudelijke aansturing van opdrachten. Je begeleidt organisaties bij het versterken van hun controlfunctie, het optimaliseren van bedrijfsprocessen en het beheersen van financiële, operationele en compliance-risico’s.

Je stuurt teams aan bij het uitvoeren van onderzoeken, risicoanalyses en doorlichtingen van processen en beheersmaatregelen. Daarnaast begeleid je organisaties bij actuele thema’s zoals rechtmatigheidsverantwoording, aanbestedingsrecht, subsidiebeheersing, informatieveiligheid en de verdere professionalisering van de planning- en controlcyclus.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het identificeren van risico’s en verbeterkansen binnen organisaties en vertaalt complexe vraagstukken naar heldere, praktische en bestuurlijk relevante adviezen. Hierbij fungeer je als sparringpartner voor raad, college van B&W, directies, managementteams, concerncontrollers, griffiers.

Naast je rol binnen opdrachten speel je een belangrijke rol in de ontwikkeling van het team. Je coacht en begeleidt (senior) consultants, bewaakt de kwaliteit van het werk en draagt actief bij aan de verdere groei van de Public Advisory praktijk. Daarnaast onderhoud en ontwikkel je klantrelaties, signaleer je commerciële kansen en lever je een actieve bijdrage aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe proposities voor de publieke sector.

  • Je hebt wo-opleiding Finance & Control, Bedrijfskunde, Bedrijfseconomie of Strategisch, Public Management of vergelijkbaar afgerond;
  • Je hebt minimaal 6 jaar relevante werkervaring in het adviseren van ondernemingen binnen de publieke sector
  • Je hebt goede adviesvaardigheden op gebied van changemanagement, p&c vraagstukken en andere strategische vraagstukken;
  • Je hebt ervaring en affiniteit met het acquireren van nieuwe klanten;
  • Je bent communicatief vaardig & pragmatisch ingesteld;
  • Ervaring bij een accountantskantoor is een pre, maar geen vereiste.
