Your Role:

As a Paralegal within our Finance department, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing title, survey, and zoning documents, including coordinating with title companies, surveyors, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and secure final title policies.
  • Preparation and tracking of legal closing checklists.
  • Organizing, tracking, and reviewing due diligence documents, including property level due diligence and organizational documents.
  • Preparing summaries of due diligence documents, including drafting full abstracts of complicated agreements.
  • Drafting routine and more complex transaction documents.
  • Ordering, tracking, and reviewing legal searches from third-party vendors and summarizing issues.
  • Preparing and filing UCCs and other required filings.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Growth Mindset: Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.

  • Technical Skills: Intermediate-level skills working with Microsoft Office applications, document management systems and time-keeping software are necessary.

Required Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position will have commercial real estate experience with a law firm, title company, commercial lender, or other related entity. Experience reviewing title, survey and zoning documents is required. Experience with Fannie Mae DUS, Freddie Mac CME, and/or HUD-insured programs is a plus. A college degree is preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
