AML Governance OfficerLocation LeudelangeExperience Level ExperiencedHome Office Yes, partially possibleYour Job in a NutshellThe AML Governance Officer is responsible for strengthening and harmonising AML/CFT governance across our EU entities and branches. Working closely with the Group AML/CTF Office in Switzerland and local Compliance teams, you will support the Group-wide AML/CFT Compliance Function, oversee key AML/CFT risks and regulatory developments, and help ensure consistent and effective compliance across Europe.What you can expect • Develop, maintain and continuously enhance the EU AML/CFT Governance Framework, ensuring consistent implementation of policies, standards and controls across EU entities.• Monitor EU and international AML/CFT regulatory developments, assess their impact and coordinate the implementation of new requirements across the organisation.• Coordinate and provide oversight of the EU-wide ML/TF Risk Assessment, challenging local assessments and ensuring that identified risks are appropriately addressed.• Act as a key contact for AMLA and other supervisory authorities, coordinating regulatory requests, inspections, submissions and remediation actions.• Support the EU AML Compliance Manager and Group AML/CTF Office with governance reporting, regulatory analysis, risk monitoring and preparation of management and committee materials.• Coordinate with local AML Officers and Compliance teams to promote consistent standards, effective information sharing and best practices across jurisdictions.• Monitor the effectiveness of the AML/CFT governance framework, identify areas for improvement and support audits, regulatory reviews, remediation programmes and training initiatives.• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Audit and the business to foster a strong AML/CFT governance and compliance culture.What we expect • Master's degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Risk Management or a related field. An AML certification (ACAMS, ICA or equivalent) is an asset.• 10+ years of experience in AML/CFT, ideally within insurance, banking or financial services, with international exposure.• Strong knowledge of the EU AML/CFT regulatory framework, including AMLA requirements, EU AML legislation, FATF standards and EBA guidelines.• Proven experience working with regulators and supervisory authorities.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational and reporting skills.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and adaptable mindset.• Very good command of English and French, both written and spoken.
