We are Baltic Assist - a company committed to providing high‑value talent solutions and operational excellence for global clients. Together with our partner Aspire Lounge Vilnius, we are building a strong kitchen team to support a premium airport lounge experience for international travelers.

We are looking for a Kitchen Cook to support daily food preparation and buffet service in the lounge, ensuring high food quality, hygiene standards, and smooth cooperation with the front‑of‑house team in a regulated airport environment.

About the role

As a Kitchen Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and replenishing food for buffet‑style service, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting an open‑kitchen environment where interaction with guests may be required. This role plays an important part in delivering a consistent, high‑quality lounge experience.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Preparing food for buffet‑style service according to established menus and procedures
  • Ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency throughout the service period
  • Replenishing buffet items and monitoring food availability during shifts
  • Supporting the open‑kitchen service model and answering basic guest questions about food items when required
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in kitchen and food preparation areas
  • Following food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements at all times
  • Using kitchen equipment safely and correctly, following all procedures
  • Coordinating with the Kitchen Lead / Supervisor and Lounge Supervisors to ensure smooth service flow
  • Reporting any food safety, hygiene, or equipment issues immediately
  • Supporting stock handling and basic inventory tasks as assigned

You’ll be successful if you have

  • Previous experience working as a cook or in a professional kitchen environment
  • Experience with buffet‑style or high‑volume food service (preferred)
  • Good English skills, required to communicate with guests in an open‑kitchen environment and coordinate with the team
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe food‑handling practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and cleanliness
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Additional requirements

  • H10 food‑safety certificate required; candidates without it will obtain the certificate during the recruitment process
  • Aviation security background check - required to obtain airport access. If you don’t already have clearance, you will complete this during the recruitment process.

What we offer

  • A stable, full-time role in a premium airport lounge environment
  • Opportunity to work in an open-kitchen setting supporting international guests
  • Exposure to global aviation and hospitality standards
  • A supportive and collaborative team culture focused on quality and safety
  • Health and accident insurance coverage
  • Free meals provided during shifts
  • Free parking for employees who drive to work
  • Taxi transportation provided for very early morning or late-night shifts
  • Shift-based schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
