As Senior Business Integration Lead, you will build and own Banyan's integration function for newly acquired operating companies across the UK & EU portfolio. This is a senior role for someone with strong finance experience who can decide what needs to be integrated, who needs to be involved, and how it should be done. You will work alongside Banyan's NetSuite team, who handle the system build, so your focus is on guiding the integration and making sure the numbers are right. You will work with portfolio leadership, regional finance teams, and Banyan's offshore leaders, so strong presence and communication matter. You will also set up the playbooks and processes that make every future integration faster, and help grow the team as the function scales.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end integration of acquired entities, from deal close through final sign-off, managing several integrations at once.
  • Guide the NetSuite integration for each acquired entity, defining what needs to be integrated and how, in partnership with the NetSuite team.
  • Lead the Net Tangible Assets (NTA) review and workings for each acquisition, including the opening balance analysis, and agree the figures with the finance team and the portfolio company.
  • Map each acquired entity's chart of accounts to Banyan group standards and support alignment with group reporting requirements.
  • Oversee data validation and reconciliation for migration, including customers, vendors, products, and opening balances.
  • Support the setup of multi-entity and multi-book reporting for each acquired entity.
  • Review the acquired company's revenue recognition policies and accounting practices against group standards, and agree any adjustments with the finance team.
  • Identify gaps between the acquired company's systems and Banyan's ERP environment and prioritize fixes.
  • Coordinate integration compliance (VAT registration, KYC/AML, entity filings, contract continuity) with legal, tax, and external advisors.
  • Establish reporting calendars, governance, and stakeholder communication for each integration.
  • Build and refine integration playbooks, SOPs, and templates based on lessons learned.
  • Present progress, risks, and blockers clearly to senior leadership, and escalate critical issues early.
  • Train and mentor junior team members as the function grows.

Qualifications for Success

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in finance, ERP implementation, or post-acquisition integration, with clear seniority in at least one of them.
  • Strong finance foundation, including financial reporting, IFRS or US GAAP, reconciliations, and revenue recognition.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or a similar ERP, with exposure to data migration and multi-entity setups. Hands-on NetSuite implementation experience is a strong plus.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CIMA, CPA), qualified or close to completion, strongly preferred.
  • Polished, confident communicator who can present to senior stakeholders across time zones.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple workstreams independently.
  • Experience with net tangible assets reviews, due diligence, or opening balance work is a strong plus.
  • Experience in a private equity backed, acquisitive, or software focused organization, or direct M&A integration exposure, is an asset but not required.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Exposure to global finance operations across multiple regions, with the opportunity to build specialized expertise.
  • The opportunity to contribute to and shape a growing global function within a long-term, acquisition-driven organization.
  • A collaborative and challenging environment with cross-functional and international exposure.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
