Müller? Das klingt für viele altbacken und vor allem verstaubt. Stimmt natürlich nicht! Der Beruf bietet nicht nur traditionelles Handwerk sondern auch modernste Verfahren. In unserer Getreidemühle werdet ihr zum Allrounder ausgebildet und lernt das Müller-Handwerk von der Pike auf. Getreidesorten wie Roggen, Weizen und Dinkel vermahlt ihr zu Schrot, Grieß, Mehl und Kleie. Kiloweise Mehlsäcke schleppen oder den Mühlensteinen beim Mahlen zuschauen – das gehört der Vergangenheit an. Der Müllerei-Beruf hat oft den Ruf, etwas angestaubt zu sein. Zu Unrecht: In unserer modernen Mühlenanlage bieten wir ein spannendes Aufgabenfeld, das alles andere als staubtrocken ist. Eine moderne Mühle voller hochwertiger Technik erfordert auch einen modernen und technischen Beruf. Deshalb hat sich das Aufgabenfeld eines Müllers bzw. Verfahrenstechnologen in den vergangenen Jahren stark verändert. Heute gehören unter anderem die Einstellung der zu betreuenden Maschinen, die Überwachung der Produktqualität sowie der Hygiene in der Produktion und dem Getreidelager oder auch die Überprüfung der Prozesse und deren Optimierung zum Berufsbild. In unserer modernen Glutenfrei-Mühle werden viele dieser Aufgabe von einer zentralen Schaltstelle aus erfüllt, von wo aus die Kolleginnen und Kollegen jederzeit einen genauen Überblick über den Status der Maschinen haben. Mensch und Technik arbeiten hier quasi Hand in Hand. Wenn ihr bei uns Verfahrenstechnologe/technologin Mühlen- und Getreidewirtschaft (so heißt der Beruf heute offiziel) werden möchtet, solltet ihr Interesse am Umgang mit einem Naturprodukt, gutes Organisationsvermögen, handwerkliches Talent sowie Interesse an Technik mitbringen.
