Bauhaus is a retailer of Hong Kong fashion and accessory brands, including Salad, Muet, and Tough. We’re looking for a friendly, confident and sales-driven Shop Assistant to join our growing team in Singapore.

If you enjoy connecting with customers, recommending products, and working towards sales goals, we’d love to hear from you. Previous retail sales experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping experience.
  • Understand customers’ needs and recommend products that suit their style and preferences.
  • Use your sales skills to introduce complementary products, encourage additional purchases and work towards personal and store sales targets.
  • Keep displays attractive and the sales floor organised.
  • Handle cashiering and payments accurately using the POS system.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, inventory organisation and stock checks.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements

  • Confident and comfortable approaching and engaging customers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport and make customers feel at ease.
  • A proactive, sales-driven attitude and enthusiasm for achieving targets.
  • An interest in fashion and a willingness to learn about our products.
  • Reliable, hardworking and adaptable.
  • Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is an advantage, but not required. Training will be provided.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Basic pay: S$15 per hour, plus incentives based on upselling and personal sales targets.
  • Working hours: Up to 30 hours per week.
