Job Description

Hone Technician / Machine Operator

Location: Puyallup, WA Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

Start Your Career in Hydraulic Repair

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Hone Technician / Machine Operator to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, learning how equipment works, and working in a shop environment.

Hydraulic experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person!

What You'll Do

  • Help disassemble and inspect hydraulic cylinders
  • Operate honing equipment and other shop machinery
  • Use basic hand and power tools
  • Learn to use precision measuring tools
  • Clean and prepare cylinder components for repair
  • Safely rig and move large cylinder parts
  • Learn to identify worn or damaged components
  • Assist with documenting parts and repair information
  • Operate a forklift after completing company-provided training
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Perform other shop duties as needed

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic mechanical skills or an interest in mechanical work
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn and be trained
  • Dependable and able to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb a ladder as needed

We repair and remanufacture hydraulic cylinders, units, and components used in industries such as construction, manufacturing, mining, agriculture, marine, utilities, and other heavy-duty applications.
