Hence, our People can expect to grow in a stimulating work environment that supports professional development and fosters inclusivity.As Software Development Lead, you will lead take the lead on the development of internal tools and applications that bring IT closer to the business and strengthen our relationship with it. You will set the technical direction, organise the team's work and remain hands-on, delivering business applications, integrations and solutions (with or without AI) that address concrete needs across Audit, Tax, Advisory and support functions. You will take a pragmatic approach: for every need, you will look for the best solution in terms of return on investment, which is not always a full custom development, and work with product owners where a configurable or low-code platform is the right answer. Custom development relies mainly on .NET/C# and modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular). You will make AI an integral part of the team's daily workflow, so that it delivers quickly without compromising quality, security or maintainability.Responsibilities Team leadership• Lead, coach and develop the Software Development team: organise priorities and workload, run code reviews and support each team member's growth.• Build a balanced team of complementary profiles (full-stack developers, each with a specialty such as back-end, front-end or AI), so that knowledge is shared and no solution depends on a single person.• Define and apply team standards: coding guidelines, documentation, testing, source control and release management.• Take part in recruitment and onboarding, including team members who may be based in other locations such as Marrakech.Solution design and delivery• Work directly with business teams and product owners to understand their needs, challenge them and turn them into simple, effective solutions.• For each use case, choose the best solution in terms of return on investment: configure an existing platform, use a low-code/no-code or AI-agent approach where it fits (often together with product owners), or develop custom software when it brings real value.• Support product owners and business teams who use low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform): provide technical guidance and review, and help govern their use across the firm.• Design, develop and maintain custom applications, APIs and integrations using .NET/C#, React and Angular.• Build rapid prototypes and proofs of concept to validate value and feasibility before industrialising a solution.AI and modern engineering• Integrate AI capabilities into applications and business processes: large language models, agents, tool calling, RAG, MCP servers and document processing.• Make AI-assisted development the team's standard way of working (coding agents, AI-assisted design, testing, code review and documentation), with clear rules to guarantee quality.• Keep up with developments in AI and software engineering and propose relevant improvements to tools and practices.Quality, security and operations• Implement DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing, environment management, monitoring and logging, mainly within Microsoft Azure. Define the standards (environments, pipelines, deployment, monitoring) together with the Infrastructure team.• Apply security, data protection, access management and responsible AI principles throughout the solution lifecycle, in close collaboration with Security, Infrastructure and the DPO.• Ensure that solutions are documented, supportable and maintainable over time. Must-have requirements• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.• At least 8 years of experience in software development, including at least 2 years leading a development team or acting as technical lead.• Pragmatic mindset: the ability to compare the options (configure, buy, build) on return on investment and to choose the right one, without defaulting to full custom development or to low-code.• Solid development skills in C#/.NET and with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular (TypeScript).• Good knowledge of SQL databases, REST APIs and integration patterns.• Proven daily use of AI coding assistants or agents beyond code completion: solution design, implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring and documentation.• Good understanding of generative AI concepts: prompt engineering, tool calling, embeddings, RAG and AI agents.• Experience with DevOps practices: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, secrets management and monitoring, and with working alongside infrastructure teams to define shared standards.• Strong communication skills with business stakeholders and the ability to explain technical choices simply.• Fluency in English; French is a strong asset.
