Senior Consultant – Change Management (Digital & Technology Adoption)

The Opportunity

Join BearingPoint Ireland’s Change Management team and help organisations turn ambitious transformation strategies into changes that work for their people. As a Senior Consultant in Change Management, you will work with clients on complex, high-impact programmes that reshape services, operating models, technology and ways of working.

You will combine recognised change management expertise with strong consulting experience and sound judgement. You will lead defined workstreams or projects, engage senior stakeholders, guide client teams through change and translate programme objectives into practical actions that build readiness, adoption and lasting value.

What You Will Do

  • Lead change management workstreams from initial assessment and strategy through design, implementation, adoption and transition to business as usual, shaping the approach to the scale, complexity and risk profile of each project.
  • Design and deliver the learning and enablement approach for technology adoption: training needs analysis, curriculum and materials, and delivery through instructor-led, virtual and self-serve channels, supported by champion and key user networks that sustain adoption after go-live.
  • Define and track adoption measures - usage, proficiency, sentiment and business benefit and use the evidence to identify readiness risks and target support where it is needed.
  • Work alongside client leaders, programme teams, technology specialists and BearingPoint colleagues to integrate change activity with the wider transformation plan.
  • Facilitate engaging workshops, interviews and decision-making sessions with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Turn complex findings into clear, practical and high-quality client deliverables, recommendations and executive communications.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery for a defined workstream, including priorities, resources, dependencies, quality and progress reporting.
  • Coach consultants and analysts, creating an inclusive environment in which team members can contribute, learn and succeed.
  • Contribute to proposals, client conversations, thought leadership and the continued development of BearingPoint’s Change Management capability.

The Experience You Will Bring

You will typically bring 5 to 10 years' relevant professional experience, including hands on delivery in consulting, advisory or transformation environments and the ability to bring structure, momentum and practical focus to complex change programmes. You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Designing and delivering people-centred change in complex organisational, operational or technology enabled programmes, applying structured methods across impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness, learning, adoption and benefits realisation.
  • Working credibly with senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups to facilitate discussion, test assumptions and support informed decisions.
  • Leading defined workstreams or small multidisciplinary teams, with responsibility for delivery planning, quality, reporting and day-to-day issue resolution.
  • Producing clear, high-quality deliverables that translate complex analysis into practical recommendations for business and technical audiences.
  • Contributing to a consulting environment, including proposals, client conversations and collaborative delivery of measurable outcomes.

Relevant Transformation Experience

We are particularly interested in candidates who have supported clients to adopt new ways of working, embed technology-enabled change and realise measurable value from transformation. Relevant experience may include one or more of the following:

  • Supporting organisational and workforce change, including operating model change, role and process redesign, workforce transition, behavioural change and adoption of new ways of working.
  • Hands on experience leading and driving the adoption of enterprise platforms and digital workplace tools, with a focus on user adoption, business readiness and benefits realisation, such as:
  • Microsoft 365, Copilot, Cowork and other AI-enabled workplace tools.
  • Case management, customer relationship management, service management and workflow platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, ServiceNow or comparable solutions.
  • ERP, finance, HR or core business system transformation, including Microsoft Business Central, SAP or other enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

  • A relevant third-level qualification, or equivalent professional experience, in business, technology, communications, organisational psychology, human resources or a related discipline.
  • A recognised change management certification, such as Prosci, APMG Change Management or ACMP Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), would be beneficial.
  • Additional training in adoption, communications, learning, agile delivery or specific technology platforms would also be valued.

What Will Help You Succeed

  • A people-centred mindset, with the ability to understand how change affects individuals, teams and organisations and to design practical support that helps people adopt new ways of working.
  • Professional credibility and emotional intelligence to support colleagues, influence senior stakeholders, handle sensitive conversations and communicate with clarity, empathy and conviction.
  • Commercial awareness, including the ability to understand client priorities, constraints and value drivers, and to balance leading practice with what is practical in the client environment.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and composure in bringing structure to uncertain, evolving or complex situations.
  • A collaborative working style that builds trust, encourages participation and connects business, technology and delivery teams around shared outcomes.
  • A strong sense of ownership, with a focus on delivering high-quality work that is practical, evidence-based and creates lasting client value.
  • A commitment to continuous learning, including strengthening your change management expertise, consulting skills and understanding of how technology is shaping transformation.

What You Can Expect

  • Purposeful, varied work on transformation programmes that help organisations improve services, adopt new technologies and embed new ways of working.
  • Early and direct exposure to client leaders, programme teams and multidisciplinary colleagues, with meaningful responsibility for shaping practical outcomes.
  • Support to deepen your change management specialism while broadening your consulting experience across strategy, operating model, technology adoption and programme delivery.
  • A collaborative and inclusive team environment that values knowledge sharing, practical innovation, feedback and continuous learning.
  • Opportunities to coach junior colleagues, contribute to proposals and thought leadership and help shape the continued growth of our Change Management offering.
  • A clear development pathway towards Manager, with opportunities to build engagement leadership, client relationship, business development and people management capabilities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
