The posting

The position is based in Roskilde or Warsaw at BEC Financial Technologies' headquarters. The position is organizationally anchored in Service Integration & Security with reference to the Head of Projects & Continuity.

The Service Integration & Security area is responsible for strengthening BEC’s operational resilience and ensuring that critical business services can continue through disruption. We work closely with business areas, banking specialists, risk and compliance functions, and technology stakeholders to establish a shared understanding of business criticality, dependencies, continuity requirements, and recovery priorities.

As Business Continuity Manager, you will lead and develop BEC’s Business Impact Analysis and business criticality processes. You will engage with business owners across BEC to identify critical services and processes, assess the consequences of disruption, clarify dependencies, and define proportionate continuity and recovery requirements. The role requires strong business understanding, facilitation skills, and the ability to translate banking needs and regulatory expectations into clear priorities and practical actions.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, while also offering the opportunity to work remotely on average up to 1 day per week.

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

Continuity & resilience framework:

  • Developing and maintaining BEC’s business continuity management framework with a clear business and customer perspective
  • Owning the governance and methodology for Business Impact Analysis and business criticality assessments
  • Ensuring that continuity priorities and requirements reflect customer impact, banking obligations, financial exposure, regulatory expectations, and operational dependencies
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of business continuity plans and ensuring alignment with relevant standards and regulation

Business Impact Analysis (BIA) ownership & execution:

  • Planning, facilitating, and driving Business Impact Analyses across BEC’s business areas and shared functions
  • Helping business owners identify critical customer services, products, processes, and activities, including the impact of disruption over time
  • Facilitating consistent criticality assessments and supporting management decisions on priorities, tolerances, and continuity requirements
  • Identifying and documenting key dependencies on people, suppliers, facilities, information, applications, and other business services
  • Maintaining the BIA and criticality methodology, governance, templates, guidance, quality criteria, and review cycle
  • Consolidating results into management insight for BEC’s most critical services, business impacts, dependencies, and resilience priorities

Coordination & stakeholder engagement:

  • Building strong relationships with business owners, banking specialists, risk and compliance functions, service owners, and senior stakeholders
  • Leading workshops and interviews that turn business knowledge into clear, evidence-based impact and criticality assessments
  • Challenging assumptions constructively and creating alignment where business priorities, regulatory requirements, and operational capabilities differ
  • Translating business continuity needs into clear requirements for relevant operational and technology stakeholders without being the technical solution owner

Validation****, exercises & continuous improvement:

  • Validating BIA and criticality outcomes through business reviews, continuity exercises, incidents, and organizational changes
  • Facilitating business-focused continuity and crisis exercises that test decision-making, priorities, and cross-functional coordination
  • Using lessons learned and stakeholder feedback to improve the continuity framework, BIA process, and organizational readiness

Governance, reporting & insight:

  • Preparing clear management reporting on business criticality, BIA coverage, key risks, dependencies, gaps, and improvement priorities
  • Providing decision support and business insight that help management prioritize resilience investments and continuity actions

To succeed you will have:

  • Solid experience with business continuity management, Business Impact Analysis, operational resilience, or a comparable business-focused discipline
  • Practical experience facilitating BIAs, criticality assessments, workshops, or other cross-organizational business processes
  • Strong stakeholder-management and facilitation skills, with confidence engaging business owners and senior stakeholders
  • A structured and analytical approach, including the ability to assess business impacts, challenge input, identify dependencies, and create a coherent enterprise view
  • The ability to translate complex business, risk, and regulatory matters into clear requirements, decisions, and practical actions
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to drive progress without formal authority
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills

It’s nice-to-have:

  • Experience from a bank, mortgage-credit institution, financial infrastructure provider, or another regulated financial-services organization
  • Knowledge of relevant continuity and operational-resilience expectations, such as DORA or ISO 22301
  • Experience with process management, business architecture, or governance in a complex organization

The role will offer:

  • A key role in strengthening BEC’s operational resilience and continuity capabilities
  • High visibility across the organization and interaction with senior stakeholders
  • The opportunity to shape and evolve BEC’s continuity and BIA practices
  • A collaborative environment with strong professional expertise
  • A role with tangible impact on BEC’s ability to operate under disruption

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
