About BEES

Join us to build the future of B2B commerce!

BEES is AB InBev’s B2B platform. Through our ecosystem, merchants and retailers across 29 countries can stock their businesses quickly, easily, and securely. At BEES, we dream big, lead with purpose, and develop technology that transforms the way retailers and sellers grow.

Every line of code and every partnership is built in service of a single mission: to make commerce better for retailers and sellers around the world. Here, your work is not just important. It makes a difference!

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Product Designer, Design Systems to help create, evolve, and maintain Hexa, BEES’s global design system for mobile and web products around the world.

You will sit where design, design operations, and front-end implementation meet. In Figma, you will define how components look and behave. You will write specs that engineering can build from, work closely with teams shipping hexa and mobile libraries, and help more squads adopt the system through clear documentation, enablement, and measurable results.

This role suits you if you think of systems, care about detail at the token and component level, and want your work to land in production code, not only in design files.

You will join experienced designers and engineers in an agile setup, with real influence on roadmap, governance, and how we use AI to deliver design systems to work faster and more consistently.

What you’ll do

  • Own Hexa’s evolution. Lead discovery, design, and iteration on components, patterns, and foundations (tokens, typography, icons), and keep libraries aligned as the system grows.
  • Design for implementation. Write clear component specs: states, variants, accessibility, and content rules. Keep Figma libraries in sync with shipped engineering libraries.
  • Partner with engineering. Act as a go-to design contact through office hours, unblocking work, aligning on APIs and props, checking build quality, and supporting component PRs and releases.
  • Documentation and enablement. Improve centralized documentation and take part in enablement (for example Hexa Connect-style workshops and engineering updates) so teams use the system the right way.
  • Measure adoption. Help define and use KPIs and dashboards for library usage, quality, and consistency, and use that data to prioritize the backlog and close gaps between design and development.
  • Support product squads. Advise Hexa-aligned solutions, coordinate system updates with large initiatives, and balance platform consistency with squad deadlines.
  • Use AI thoughtfully. Apply tools such as Cursor and Figma MCP to speed up specs, audits, prototypes, and internal tooling, and help mature agentic workflows for component work where they add lasting value.
  • Collaborate and influence. Work with product, engineering, and design leadership on roadmap and governance; run critiques and working sessions when teams need to align.
  • Advocate for quality. Push for accessibility, inclusive language, and consistent experience across BEES while respecting business and platform constraints.

What we’re looking for

  • Senior design systems experience. You have shipped and maintained a multi-platform design system (components, tokens, documentation, versioning) in a product organization at scale.
  • Design technologist mindset. You are comfortable reading front-end code (for example React, TypeScript, CSS or Tailwind, and component props). You do not need to be a full-time engineer, but you should discuss tradeoffs with engineering and contribute meaningfully to PR reviews.
  • Expert Figma skills. You work confidently with variables and tokens, component properties, variants, auto-layout, and libraries, and you produce specs engineers can implement without guesswork.
  • Clear communication in English. You explain system decisions, migration impact, and adoption plans to designers, engineers, and leadership.
  • Cross-functional delivery. You have partnered with platform or foundation teams and product squads, using iteration and both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Systems thinking with hands-on delivery. You can set direction and still ship precise component updates on a quarterly cadence.
  • Practical use of AI. You already use AI in your day-to-day work and look for repeatable ways to help the team (specs, docs, audits, prototypes), not one-off experiments.
  • Comfort with parallel work. Design system work mixes components, support, documentation, and metrics at the same time; you keep quality high across all of it.

Bonus points

Not required, but they help you stand out:

  • Hands-on work on component libraries in code (monorepo packages, Storybook, design token pipelines).
  • Code Connect or similar practices that keep Figma and code aligned.
  • E-commerce or B2B SaaS, including mobile consumer apps and desktop admin or back-office tools.
  • Global products and design systems that account for localization.
  • Design system analytics (adoption, version drift, usage or bundle metrics).
  • AI-assisted design or development pipelines for UI components.

Please be prepared to submit

  • Your resume
  • An updated portfolio (file or link), including at least one design system case (components, tokens, documentation, and how you worked with engineering)
  • A live presentation of a product or design system case and prototype during interviews

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
