Our client is a Hong Kong based brick-and-mortar business leveraging its technology and crowd intelligence platform to aggregate information to build its data analytics asset.

Summary

Business model focuses on two key UPS as differentiators and growth drivers:

As such, the candidate will benefit from having a strong background in any of the following:

  • Entrepreneur in a business that relied on innovative design and use of technology.
  • Technology design.
  • Marketing primarily to HK Chinese as our client's primary future consumer.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the ongoing operations of the company.
  • Manages and directs the company toward its primary goals and objectives.
  • Jointly oversees employment decisions at the executive level of the company.
  • Works closely with the company's leadership to consider major decisions including marketing and technology expansion, senior recruitment and salesforce growth.
  • Promotes communication and cooperation among divisions to create a spirit of unity in the organization.
  • Works with CEO, board of directors and other executives to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals, and related plans and policies.
  • Presents regular reports on the status of the company's operations to the board of Directors and to company staff.
  • Oversees the organizations financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the company.
  • Reviews the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the company's objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.
  • Ensures the company's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent managerial skills and the ability to take leadership over any business operations area.
  • Superlative communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader.
  • Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations.
  • Proven experience in articulating a vision and driving marketing and technology development to create a recognized brand.
  • Extensive professional experience in leadership roles.
  • Experience in marketing and/or the application of technology to brick-and-mortar businesses.
  • Education may vary; an advanced degree in entrepreneurship, business administration, marketing, or technology is desired but not required.
