Doel en Missie

Als Mechanieker bij Bekaert ben je een onmisbare schakel in het onderhoud en de goede werking van onze productie-installaties. Je zorgt ervoor dat mechanische storingen snel worden opgespoord en verholpen, zodat het productieproces veilig en efficiënt kan blijven draaien. Met jouw technische vakkennis draag je actief bij aan het optimaliseren van machines en het verhogen van de betrouwbaarheid.

Kernactiviteiten en Verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Lokaliseren, analyseren en oplossen van mechanische storingen aan productiemachines en installaties.
  • Uitvoeren van preventief en curatief mechanisch onderhoud.
  • Monteren, demonteren en afstellen van machineonderdelen.
  • Assisteren bij de installatie en opstart van nieuwe machines of upgrades.
  • Meedenken over structurele verbeteringen aan apparatuur en processen.
  • Correct registreren van werkzaamheden in het onderhoudssysteem.
  • Werken volgens de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Sterke mechanische kennis (pneumatiek, hydraulica, lagers, aandrijvingen, enz.).
  • Technisch inzicht en ervaring met het lezen van mechanische plannen en schema’s.
  • Analytisch vermogen en oplossingsgerichte mindset.
  • Handigheid met gereedschap en meetinstrumenten.
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken én functioneren binnen een team.
  • Flexibiliteit en bereidheid om in ploegen te werken (indien van toepassing).
  • Kwaliteits- en veiligheidsbewust.

Ervaring en Kwalificaties

  • Aantoonbare ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie binnen een industriële productieomgeving.
  • Ervaring met preventief onderhoud en mechanisch herstel.
  • Basiskennis van elektrisch onderhoud is een plus, maar geen vereiste.
  • Inzicht in technische documentatie en onderhoudssystemen.
