Jouw rol als DevOps Engineer

Als DevOps Engineer ben je de brug tussen onze developers en de infrastructuur waarop hun software draait. Binnen het Platform Integration Team bouw je mee aan het engineering platform waarmee onze teams software bouwen, testen en opleveren.

Je focus ligt op CI/CD-pipelines, Gradle en automatisering. Het is een hands-on rol op vlak van software, build engineering en DevOps. Daarnaast kan je ook Java-code lezen en aanpassen. Zo komen developers vlotter van code naar productie, met duidelijke standaarden, herbruikbare pipelines en minder problemen met build tooling. Je bouwt ook mee aan onze interne build-expertise.

Wat zal je doen?

  • Je bouwt, verbetert en onderhoudt CI/CD-pipelines, beheert onze Jenkins-omgeving en laat ons CI/CD-platform verder evolueren.
  • Je ontwikkelt en onderhoudt Gradle-build logic & custom plugins, en je helpt teams om hun builds te migreren naar en te standaardiseren op Gradle.
  • Je beheert onze JFrog Artifactory-setup en de levenscyclus van onze artifacts.
  • Je automatiseert repetitieve development- en deploymentprocessen.
  • Je helpt developers bij problemen met builds, dependencies en pipelines en werkt nauw met hen samen om de Developer Experience te verbeteren.
  • Je verbetert de betrouwbaarheid, onderhoudbaarheid en observability van onze softwarelevering. Je reviewt en onderhoudt Java-code rond ons platform en onze tooling.
  • Je helpt engineeringstandaarden definiëren, documenteren en promoten bij de development teams.
  • Af en toe draai je mee in de wachtdienst, maximaal 1 week op 4. Na kantooruren ben je dan bereikbaar, bijvoorbeeld om iets te herstarten, want onze software draait 24/7.

Wie zoeken we?

dit heb je zeker:

  • Minstens medior niveau, met 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie.
  • Kennis van Gradle en de motivatie om diepgaande Gradle-expertise verder op te bouwen.
  • Hands-on ervaring met CI/CD en build-automatisering: je kan pipelines opzetten en beheren, met kwaliteitscontroles en tests.
  • Een goed begrip van dependency- en artifactbeheer, én van hoe software van broncode naar build, artifact en deployment gaat.
  • Een Java-achtergrond: je kan Java-code lezen, begrijpen, aanpassen en compileren.
  • Basiskennis van zowel software als hardware en infrastructuur, zodat je beide kanten begrijpt.
  • Je werkt graag aan automatisering, bouwt herbruikbare oplossingen in plaats van telkens hetzelfde probleem te herstellen, en hecht belang aan onderhoudbaarheid, veiligheid en standaardisatie.
  • Je werkt graag samen met zowel developers als infrastructuur- en platform engineers en lost graag problemen op die meerdere teams raken.
  • Je spreekt zeer goed Engels en goed Nederlands.

  • Ervaring met Jenkins of vergelijkbare CI/CD-tools.
  • Ervaring met Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, JFrog Artifactory of Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • DevOps-vaardigheden die je inzetbaar maken in onze wachtdienst.
