The Role

What You'll Do:

  • Support development of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and inventory forecasts for assigned categories
  • Own day-to-day planning responsibilities for assigned categories
  • Maintain category-level OTB and reconcile planned versus actual sales, receipts, inventory, and margin
  • Analyze historical sales trends and current business performance to identify risks and opportunities
  • Perform SKU-level analysis and make strategic recommendation for products requiring additional investment, replenishment, markdowns, or exit strategies for assigned categories
  • Partner with Buying on seasonal assortment plans, purchase recommendations, and support category decisions
  • Support inventory planning for product launches, marketing campaigns, promotions, and peak periods.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning assumptions.
  • Develop dashboards and tools that make business performance easier to understand and act upon.
  • Present key insights and recommendations during weekly/monthly business reviews.

What You'll Bring:

  • 2–3 years in merchandise planning, retail analytics, ecommerce, or a similar analytical function
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills — comfortable with pivots, lookups, formulas, data manipulation, and building models
  • Strong understanding of retail math and metrics such as sales, margin, sell-through, weeks of supply, inventory turn, and OTB
  • Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Comfortable building forecasting models and analyzing multiple scenarios
  • Excellent communication skills — able to explain the "why" behind the numbers
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a high-growth environment
  • Genuine interest in product, customers, and the DTC/ecommerce environment
  • Adapt quickly to new tools and systems, including custom-built platforms, to support effective planning, analysis, and decision-making
