The ideal candidate combines deep operational domain expertise with strong technology leadership, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead teams and manage change.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Technology Leadership

  • Co-own the operations technology roadmap with the Head of Operations, aligning near- and long-term initiatives with business strategies and client needs.
  • Define the target architecture for key operations platforms supporting custody and client operations, including post-trade processing, asset servicing, fees, data and tax operations, and trust accounting.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the firm’s full operations technology stack, taking ownership of all tools, platforms, and integrations.

Platform Ownership & System Integration

  • Oversee and continuously improve back-office systems and integrations, with a primary focus on trust accounting and custody platforms (e.g., Global Plus).
  • Partner with operations teams to translate business needs into technology solutions that streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure stability, scalability, and performance of operational systems supporting daily business functions.

Process Improvement & Enablement

  • Identify, design, and implement new technology solutions to enhance operational capabilities and drive efficiency across the organization.
  • Promote innovation across technology and operational processes by leveraging automation and AI to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enhance scalability.
  • Contribute to long-term product and business strategy by interpreting future operational needs through a technology lens.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party technology vendors and service providers, overseeing performance and service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with operations leadership, technology teams, and external partners to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely delivery of operational and management reporting to key stakeholders.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide ongoing leadership, supervision, training, and development opportunities for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and best practices.
  • Manage staff performance, prioritize workloads, and support professional growth within the team.

Communication & Change Management

  • Act as a highly effective communicator, clearly articulating complex technical and operational concepts to senior leaders and non-technical audiences.
  • Support organizational change management by promoting adoption of new technologies and processes across operations teams.

Qualifications:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
