At BETA Technologies, we apply our intellectual curiosity, passion for aviation, and commitment to sustainability toward a shared mission of revolutionizing electric aviation. Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture.

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to join our New Product Introduction and Contracting team. This role will play a vital role in ensuring the team drives critical supply agreements from initial concept through final signature. They will partner closely with team members in the legal, procurement, new product introduction, logistics and finance functions to ensure Beta is considering, drafting, negotiating and executing the appropriate contract tools at the appropriate times.

How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:

  • Support the development, negotiation, and execution of complex supply-chain agreements, from initial strategy through final signature
  • Partner with Procurement, NPI, Legal, Logistics, Finance, and technical stakeholders to identify contracting needs early and select the appropriate agreement structure
  • Support a process to ensure critical intellectual property is protected with non-disclosure agreements
  • Establish and continuously improve contracting standards, processes, policies, playbooks, and training for supply agreements
  • Maintain and enhance a comprehensive library of contract templates, clauses, guidance, and approved fallback positions
  • Provide practical contract guidance to internal stakeholders on commercial terms, risk allocation, compliance requirements, and negotiation strategy
  • Support and, as appropriate, lead complex vendor negotiations while balancing business priorities, risk, legal requirements, and long-term supplier relationships
  • Ensure critical supply agreements support business objectives and appropriately address commercial, operational, legal, and compliance risks
  • Drive timely contract closure to enable sourcing decisions, supplier onboarding, NPI milestones, and broader supply-chain initiatives
  • Develop clear leadership-level summaries of key contract terms, decisions, risks, and recommended paths forward
  • Help establish effective contract-management practices, including tracking obligations, approvals, key milestones, and renewal or amendment needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of contract management experience (5+ in supply chain/procurement context)
  • Demonstrated success negotiating complex vendor/supply agreements
  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain contracting roles
  • Exposure to multiple contract types (purchase agreements, service agreements, strategic partnerships)
  • Expert-level contract drafting, negotiation, and management
  • Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and legal principles

Above and Beyond Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in related field or JD
  • Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing or defense contracting
  • Familiarity with Ironclad or other contract lifecycle management software or compliance tracking software

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
