Better Career is recruiting for a fast-growing Sales Tech startup who’s transforming deal desk with AI.

Role: Outbound-obsessed full-cycle seller, selling software that solves a massive pain and customers love (4.9 on G2Crowd).

Compensation: $180k++ OTE (Uncapped Commission) + early-stage equity

About the Company

Our client is transforming the deal desk with AI. They help sales teams automate content creation for RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and more—turning what used to take weeks into minutes, while improving accuracy and win rates. Trusted by names like Corelight and Build Ops, they deliver next‑level efficiency by transforming institutional knowledge into polished responses at scale.

As an early sales hire (sales team member #5), you'll join at the perfect moment to make a massive impact and help write our sales playbook from scratch.

You’ll report to the CRO, and work directly with the founding team to close deals, refine our strategies, and lay the foundation for our future sales organization — with significant equity upside.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate—with outbound prospecting expectations baked in from Day 1.
  • Build a high‑quality pipeline: uncover greenfield opportunities, target CROs, VPs of Sales, RevOps, and more.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally: feed key insights into Product and Marketing to refine our GTM and messaging.
  • Define our playbook: help shape sales strategies and playbooks in this early-stage, founder‑led environment.
  • Work in a high-growth, dynamic company environment, including in-person time (3+ days/week) in NYC.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of full‑cycle SaaS sales (ideally with a mix of startup grit and mid-size/big company experience).
  • A true hunter mentality: you build your own lists, run outreach, iterate messaging and refuse to wait for leads to land. You make 100 dials a day if you need.
  • Comfort selling into execs—CROs, VPs, Enablement, RevOps—you connect features to meaningful business outcomes.
  • Strong storytelling and communication chops—you make every pitch compelling and relevant.
  • Resilience and tenacity—you thrive in scrappy environments and keep momentum when deals drag or priorities shift.
  • BONUS: You already have a network of Revenue Leaders you can sell into.
