The posting

Turn recycled materials into new opportunities

Are you commercially driven, curious about international markets and motivated by building strong partnerships?

As our international Trader, you will play a key role in developing and managing the sourcing and sale of recycled materials to BEWI production units. In this field-based role you will secure reliable material supply, connect suppliers with internal customers, identify new market opportunities and improve profitability across the value chain. Your "area of work" will mainly be in Northern Europe & the Nordic countries. The role includes trading recycled materials, such as EPS, cardboard, plastics and metal.

What you will do

  • Source, purchase and sell recycled EPS materials, primarily for BEWI production locations in the Czech Republic, Portugal and Sweden.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with suppliers, recyclers, converters and internal and external customers.
  • Follow market trends, pricing, supply-and-demand developments and competitor activity, and translate insights into commercial action.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements that create value while actively managing trading risks.
  • Coordinate logistics and material flows to ensure reliable, cost-efficient delivery in compliance with relevant regulations for green-listed waste.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to market growth initiatives across countries and material streams.

What you bring

  • A strong commercial mindset and proven experience in sales, sourcing, trading, procurement or a related B2B role.
  • Confident negotiation skills and the ability to balance customer value, supply security, risk and profitability.
  • Experience with plastics, polymers, recycled materials or another commodity-based market is an advantage.
  • An analytical, data-informed approach and the ability to turn market information into clear decisions.
  • Understanding of international logistics, supply chains and relevant regulations for green-listed waste.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the confidence to collaborate across functions, cultures and countries.
  • Additional it is a benefit to speak one of the Nordic languages and/or German.

Who you are

  • You enjoy creating opportunities, bringing people together and moving business forward.
  • You are naturally curious and proactive, and you take ownership from the first conversation through to delivery.
  • You build trust through openness, reliability and commercial credibility, while remaining comfortable challenging assumptions and making decisions in a changing market.
  • Just as importantly, you are a collaborative colleague who shares knowledge, follows through on commitments and contributes positively to an international team.

What we offer

You will join an international business where recycling, resource efficiency and commercial impact go hand in hand. The role offers broad contact across BEWI, the opportunity to shape a growing trading area and the freedom to develop strong partnerships and new business opportunities. This is a field-based role with most of your time spent engaging directly with customers, suppliers and our own production sites.

If you are excited by international trade and want your commercial skills to support a more circular use of materials, we would be pleased to hear from you.

What can you expect?

We believe great people deserve great opportunities. That is why we offer a competitive salary package, company car, pension scheme and a range of additional benefits.

But it is not just about the package. You will join a talented team of inspiring and dedicated colleagues, where collaboration, knowledge sharing and a good sense of humor go hand in hand.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
