Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled ETL Developer III to support enterprise data warehouse and data mart development initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing source system and data mart models, implementing ETL workflows, developing complex transformation logic, and maintaining reliable data integration processes using Snowflake, Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.

The candidate should bring strong database development and troubleshooting capabilities, a solid understanding of dimensional modeling, and the ability to deliver quality solutions while working with business users and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Warehouse Design: Design and implement data mart models, source system models, and data warehouse structures.
  • ETL Development & Maintenance: Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL code and data integration workflows.
  • Transformation Logic: Implement complex data transformation logic using PL/SQL and SQL.
  • Snowflake & Oracle Development: Build and maintain database solutions across Snowflake and Oracle environments.
  • Data Modeling: Develop dimensional models and implement STAR schema designs.
  • SQL Performance Tuning: Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries and database processes.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve data processing and database-related issues.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Understand business requirements and coordinate with technical teams and business users to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Document data models, transformation rules, ETL workflows, and technical implementation details.
  • Delivery Ownership: Manage assigned deliverables independently and ensure timely completion with appropriate quality.

Qualifications & Skills Technical:

Skills (Must Have):

  • 5–9 years of experience in ETL development, database development, or data warehousing.
  • Hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Oracle.
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
  • Experience in data mart design, source system modeling, and data warehouse development.
  • Knowledge of dimensional modeling and STAR schema design.
  • Experience implementing ETL processes and complex data transformations.
  • Strong SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing technical and business requirements.
  • Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail.

Education:

  • BE/BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Datastage ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development environments.
  • Exposure to macOS, iOS, and Browser-Dealer environments.

Key Skills:

  • Snowflake, Oracle, Strong SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, Control-M.
