Project Manager | Civil Site Development

Commercial | Multifamily | Mixed-Use | Retail | Industrial

Office Location: 2200 Ross Ave #2550, Dallas, TX 75201

Ready to take more ownership of your projects and your career?

We're looking for a Civil Project Manager who understands what it takes to move commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and other private site development projects from concept and due diligence through permitting, design, and construction.

This is an opportunity to manage meaningful projects, work directly with clients, lead and mentor engineering staff, and continue developing your career with a growing Site Development team.

We're privately owned, decisions are made locally, and you'll have the support of an established engineering firm while still having the opportunity to make a visible impact.

What You'll Own

  • Manage commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and private site development projects from concept through construction.
  • Lead civil site design including grading, drainage, paving, utilities, water, wastewater, stormwater, and detention.
  • Coordinate entitlements, permitting, and approvals with municipalities, counties, utility providers, and reviewing agencies.
  • Work directly with developers, architects, owners, contractors, and municipalities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, invoicing, and overall delivery.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to Engineers, EITs, and Designers.
  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional work.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership while growing your own project management and client-development skills.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, ideally with private site development projects.
  • Project management experience with commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, retail, industrial, or similar site development projects.
  • Strong understanding of grading, drainage, paving, utilities, stormwater, and site infrastructure.
  • Experience coordinating permitting and approvals with municipalities and other reviewing agencies.
  • Ability to manage clients, project teams, budgets, and schedules.
  • Civil 3D experience.

We'd Especially Like to Talk If You...

  • Know the Texas development and permitting environment.
  • Have worked directly with developers, architects, municipalities, and other members of the private development community.
  • Enjoy the client-facing side of engineering as much as the technical side.
  • Have experience mentoring Engineers, EITs, or Designers.
  • Want to continue growing into greater project, client, and leadership responsibility.

Why Make a Move?

You're probably not looking to leave a good job just to do the same job somewhere else.

Neither are we.

We're looking for someone who wants more ownership, meaningful client relationships, interesting site development projects, and room to continue growing their career.

If you're ready for the next step, let's have a conversation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
